Off to college I go this September. Sadly, I won't be able to bring along my SO. Instead, I'm considering buying a little "travel boyfriend".

So far, I'm mostly interested in a rabbit vibrator. I have two vibrating friends in mind: The Wascally Wabbit (which I've found as cheap as $19.95) or the Original Jack Rabbit (for $16.95). After seeing how expensive they can be sold for, it seems that both are on outrageous sales.

Being a to-be college student, I'm concerned largely with the cost. Of course quality matters. From what I've read, the Wascally Wabbit has been known to have certain functions wear down quickly...

I'd like to know what your preferences are. Any experiences with these vibrators (or others) would be very helpful!

Buy two... Always good to have a spare.
Even if they have a warranty, who wants to wait for another.

Sorry I have no experience with either, but I did enjoy the
Sex In The City episode(season 1, episode 9).
When the vibrating child seat breaks down and is augmented
with a personal vibrator.

Good luck...

I dunno which rabbit I had I think it was a fairly basic rampant rabbit not one of the new ones, but I personally didnt like it much, I think the "head" of the vibrator is too pronounced which made it uncomfortable to insert and remove, once it was in it was gorgeous tho! But then once I came I was like "oh shit now I have to take it out :-S" which was my least favourite part. I have since got rid of my rabbit and just got a straight, normal vibrator kinda like the ones that get used in porn. Its sooo much cheaper and I love it, I find it to be more versatile, I can use it just on my clit or inside me, and it didnt have the uncomfy "head" bit either. My friend recently got one of the new rabbits and didnt like it much either and had the same reservations about the uncomfy head part. Hope this helps, probably doesnt! Lol while they are on sale for that much tho you should just try them out and see what suits you! x

My husband broke mine and it didn't do that much for me, so I've not replaced it. If the Hitachi Magic wand broke I'd get another post haste.

What I really want is one of the older models of Panasonic Panabrater though.

*sigh*

I've got the Wascally Rabbit and enjoy it a whole bunch.

While the vibrating ears make me quite happy, being powerful enough to make me come on their own, I love how the beads grind against my vagina. The head is a bit large, but your own or bottled lube should fix that, easy. Plus, the smooth jelly material should help things along as well.

However, I've had to replace him once after three months, due to the controller spazzin' out on me. Consequently, the sliding controls seem cheap and fragile to me, as if they'll snap off if I'm not excruciatingly gentle. Usually, though, I don't really fiddle around with them too much once I'm done teasing myself for a few minutes. After that, both are at top speed.

By the looks of it, the Original Jack Rabbit's controller is sturdier, if a bit bulkier. The pearls look bigger than the Wascally's beads, too. Hmm...

Should my Wascally Rabbit give out on me again, I'll more than likely give the Original a shot.

Good luck.

Roomates and a Rabbit

I have experience with a rabbit vibe (Something "pearl") and it's not my favorite vibe. Mostly because it is really loud. The rotating beads don't do much for me considering how loud they are.

I prefer a nice jelly vibe and a bullet vibe. It gives me more control - I can keep the vibe deep inside me and still circle and play with my clit with the bullet. You can buy the two together for less than $35. That's what works for me (as well as a few other of my toys.) But each person is different.

If you are living alone noise won't be as big and issue. But you can hear a lot though dorm walls. Check websites such as goodvibes that list noise ratings. I wouldn't buy two just yet. You might not like what you get. Then again, you may want three. Most importantly, keep it clean. You don't want to start of college with a UTI.

By the way, I like the way you think ahead.

The rabbits go under a bunch of different names, so it can be hard to compare without pics and packaging. I've seen several vastly different designs of the "Wascally Rabbit" by different companies, for instance.

I always recommend the ones with corded controllers that take 3 'C' batteries because they've held up really well for me and everyone I know who has one, and the ones that take AA/AAA batteries can be too weak for some and/or wear out really quickly if more than one function is used.

My first rabbit lasted about 5 years of heavy use, and the second is still going strong after a few years. I bought both in eBay's Mature Audiences section (under Everything Else) for under $20, INCLUDING shipping. Several of my friends have bought the same, and been very happy with their toys. I have two sets of rechargeable batteries, which are more expensive, but not too bad online and a really good investment if you like the toy.

There are some high quality rabbits that warrant a higher price tag out there, but most of the rabbits offered are simply marked WAY up by retailers. As much as I've enjoyed mine, I'd never pay more than $20 because a) I don't have to, b) jelly is NOT a quality material (even with pthalate-free jelly, a condom can be a good idea), c) I can afford to replace them when necessary, and d) toys like this, no matter the price, only have a certain lifespan.

Anyway, I really hope you like whatever you decide on!

I have a wascally wabbit

Now you have to understand, I'm really not a toy girl. All I really need to get off is the flat side of my middle finger. I have started using my left hand (I'm right handed) because I can go a little longer with that. See, if a woman can come too fast, that's me.

I heard so much about the rabbits I wanted to try one.

Now I've only used it about three times. Since I don't usually use an insertable when I wank, I have to be really wet (reading these stories for an hour does the trick nicely). But when I am, I stuff that unit in, get the ears set where I like em, and wham bam about thirty seconds later I'm in orbit.

For me inserting something does seem to make the O stronger and longer.

So far, so good.
