It’s especially prevalent among younger (say, 30s and lower) men, Podcast Bros/Incels. . So if he’s trying to attract women under 45-50, it’s going to hurt his chances.

Most likely, that was not the intent of the original poster. Which is why Erica attempted to help him out by telling him that he might have inadvertently been off putting in his ad. He could have used the interaction as an opportunity to display a winning and charming personality. Perhaps some wit and intelligence. He opted to ignore her and keep talking about himself. Women love that. He should be rolling in offers by now.

Obviously, a woman is indeed a female. Equally obviously, so are cows, ewes, and does. "Females" can belong to any sexually-dimorphic species.

Using an adjective as a noun like that makes it sound like you're discussing research statistics, rather than people.
