I disagree with your assessment of a "Dom". A Dom is ALL about control and a sub is all about relinquishing that control to someone she can trust. Someone who just wants to "fuck rough" is referred to as a chauvinist asshole. I actually admire the subs I've had and take the responsibility of being a Dom very seriously. You are right about the need to know someone if you're going to tailor your sessions for maximum mutual satisfaction.

Bad choice of words on my part. If a guy just needs rough sex without regard to the person he's having it with, that's abuse. If she's into it also, that's consentual rough sex. I happen to love it to but, when you rough up a woman without her consent or approval, implied or otherwise, then it's something completely different. I'm quite fond of good hard fucking when the gal on the other end wants a good hard fucking.
