Actually, the only part of Hawaii I've seen in person is the airport. We had a layover on the way to/from Australia.

My parents went twice when I was a kid so I studied all of the islands quite extensively for various reports.

They did. More than the normal, typical ones. Of course, that was 2 or 3 (or 23) years ago, so the names aren't flying off the top of my head.

Hawaii is nice, but how about the Caribbean instead? I really wanted to go to Aruba this year, but didn’t have anyone to go with. There are some other great places there as well. Heck, St. Marteen even has nude beaches on the French side of the island!

Actually, I found the Caribbean to be a lot more affordable than Hawaii.
