Father in Law just visited the Oncologist. Melanoma has spread to the bladder.
I need a cup of fresh coffee from CrashD to just sit and absorb this news. He isn't looking at surgery just yet, Need the power of positive thoughts team.

I'm really sorry to hear that mortis, I will keep him in my thoughts and hope for the best!

He was back under the knife yesterday. They had to seal up his spine after he was leaking spinal fluid for a few days. Tried to keep it positive at the hospital, he seems to be in high hopes, the docs know what they are doing. He is more bummed we won't be cycling together this summer, he needs a lot of PT.

I am so sorry to hear of your FIL's bad news. I hope things get better with time.

I was pretty upset to hear about it. He has an EMG machine now and is in better spirits, hoping it helps speed up his recovery!

Yeah, that's pretty upsetting news, I hope it works for him too. Hubby had his check up yesterday and the doc said everything looks good.
