good to see you mr rogue!!

first time posters are usually required to post sexy pics of their ladies... ;)

Thanks Crash. Nothing better than hanging around with other caffeine addicts looking for a fix of our favorite, legal, publically enjoyable pleasure.

First time? But I posted this...
attachment.php

...way back on page... Um... 427 divided by 25 is 17 with a remainder of 2... on page 18. I guess back then I thought the rules were post a sexy pic of yourself with coffee. If it's any consolation, the sexy lady made the coffee posted above.

Cheers

P.S. Posting on pages 18 and 81. Conincidence or critcal step in a secret Illuminati plot to take over the world?

My first visit to a Starbuck's.
I'm addicted to caffeine, as are a lot of people who are no longer addicted to alcohol. One morning, years ago, I decided to drive about 15 miles to a bookstore that also had a coffee shop in it, so I didn't drink any coffee before I left home. As I neared the shopping mall where the bookstore was located, I remembered that there was a Starbuck's across the street from the large mall in a strip mall. I'd heard of Starbuck's but I'd never been to one. By now my headache from caffeine withdrawal was starting to throb. I entered Starbuck's and there were no customers, so I know I could get my coffee immediately. The young lady behind the counter welcomed me to Starbuck's and asked what I wanted. I was perusing the black slate board which was on the wall behind the counter and she said that they had all the types of coffee that were up there and I could buy those coffees by the 1/2 pound or 1 pound bag. I told her that I just needed a cup of coffee immediately because I hadn't had any coffee yet and it was now 10:00 a.m. She replied that there wasn't any coffee ready right now so she'd be happy to make whatever kind I wanted. I told her it was my first visit to a Starbuck's and I didn't know what kind of coffee they had, and I'd appreciate it if she could just get me a cup of coffee immediately. She replied that since there was no coffee made right now, she could make me a cup of coffee in a French press and then went on to tell me what a French press is. I interrupted her and told her that I have a French press at home and that I really need a cup of coffee because my headache is getting worse. She finally caught on and went into the back and returned a moment later with a French press loaded with coffee grounds and hot water. She assured me that I'd have my coffee very soon. Sure enough within a couple of minutes, I was holding and drinking from a cup of hot Starbuck's coffee. When I asked for another cupful, she told me that the second one was on the house because I'd been so patient. I decided that Starbuck's was a good place to go for coffee.
