This is like having a conversation with my friend Christy, who came over today. She has a degree in literature, teaches reading and language to middle school kids. If we talk about books, I sometimes ask her to repeat what she just said, but talk to me like I'm in elementary school. She's gotten a bit more intellectual since she got married. But she's my best buddy, so I don't mind.

Yes I did. My friend Christy and I went to a pet store. She is VERY intent on me getting a pet. Right now, she wants me to get a guinea pig. Before it was a rabbit, before that it was a rat. She's always changing her mind.

I'm off to take a quick shower before it gets late, but I'll be back soon.

I sure did......I got outta the house......went and got a bit
to eat at Duchess (my "treat" for the week for being good
eat-healthywise)....then it was off to Barnes and Noble
for reading, reading, and enjoying a Tazoberry Frappuccino
along with it
