Try hot tea with lemon.

Read some, then hopefully some sleep.

1. no sitting in front of the computer or tv.....that will keep you
awake....

2. have a relaxing drink such as hot tea (like Shagly mentioned) or
a glass of hot milk, or some hot cocoa

3. make sure your bedroom is not too warm for sleeping in, should
be at least 64-68 degrees, because either too warm or too cold doesn't
help sleep

4. try some soothing music (at a low roar), or even get one of those
sound machines (you can set it to diff. nature sounds.....I have one of
those and my fave sound is ocean waves).

5. get a sleep eye-mask.....believe me those help!

6. no eating at least 2-3 hours before bed!
