Jen you dont have to worry if there is Lightning around you are grounded by 4 tires nothing is going to happen to ya as for the Downpours take your time and drive slow

Thanks Goldie! Oh yeah I know very well to stay in my car if its lightning out for sure.....and I
always drive like a turtle when its a downpour....but its very scary at nite because its dark and
where I drive to work there's not a lot of lights on the road......

Greetings from a fellow newenglander. Be careful driving in or after a heavy rain; slow is good. And always be wary of large areas of water on the road. You could hydroplane and lose control.

It has been a long time since the Northeast had a good hurricane, bring a hurricane on, my insurance is all paid up. :)

We are overdue for a big ass hurricane but NO WAY IN HELL is one going to happen
when I'm at work!!!! :mad:
