Field trip part 1

I had an absolute blast in Boston yesterday! Got there around 11, and headed straight to Quincy market for a bread bowl of clam chowder. SOoooooooo good!

Then it was over to the aquarium. The penguins were so adorable, but they wouldn't let me take one home.

There's one place where they have an open water area with sea urchins, snails, hermit crabs, and sun stars (starfish). You can hold them in your hands, but they ask you to keep your hand under the water. The only problem is that the water is so damn cold, you can only keep it there for about 15 seconds before they start to go numb! But I got to hold some sun stars, and I really enjoyed it.

The tank in the center of the aquarium is enormous, and loaded with all kinds of fish. The turtles, rays, and sharks were great to watch. Definitely a place to visit again the next time I'm in Boston.

Field trip part 2

After the aquarium, I hopped a subway over to the science museum. I'm not sure if this is the same one I went to when I was younger. In fact, I'm almost positive that it wasn't. Is there more than 1? Maybe it was a children's museum I had gone to.

Anyways, there were interesting things to do. I saw a show in the planetarium on stars and astonomy, something I've been getting into recently. It was a good show, and it displayed some of the constellations and how to find them.

I took the subway back to Quincy Market for some shopping and an early dinner. Being of Italian heritage, I decided to try an Italian restaurant, and I'm glad I did. Started with a cup of italian sausage soup, which was yummy. Then I had an herb-crusted boneless chicken breast with gorgonzola cheese, served with garlic mashed potatoes. ABSOLUTELY DELICIOUS!!!

A fantastic day, and I'm looking forward to the next trip.

I got my pictures back from my vacation on Cape Cod, and thought I'd post a few.

Nah! Today was all the other stuff that I've been ignoring while I'm playing on lit.. Weeded the flowerbeds (whhich were overrun..). Cleaned up the dog's play area. Washed and cleaned out the car... Laundry.. All the normal stuff...

Every now and then I pop back into Lit to see whats up...
