You really just have to explore for yourself. I'd recommend doing some general interest searches to find forums and threads that suit your liking. I also highly recommend opening links in a new tab rather than a direct click because it's way too easy to get directed away from where you began.

Everyone uses this place differently, so there's no real "how to" guide. It's a different place for different people.

You should browse the forums and sub-forums, read the posts, etc, till you get the general feel of the place.

Then when you're comfortable you can contribute and post.

I'm not privy to the story section, but I think there is one.

Welcome to the rabbit hole Sophie, it’s really quite fun all things considered.

Personally I’d say be yourself, contribute where you feel comfortable and be open minded, like anywhere there is a quota of idiots but just ignore them.

And remember that most of this is fantasy and doesn't reflect true sexual experience. At 18, you don't have much of a baseline to compare to what you read, but don't ever feel that, if you're not as hypersexual as the characters in the stories you read, there's something wrong with you.

As other people have said, you need to sort of experiment a bit and find your tribe, your threads, your people.

This is simply my take.

I would maybe not post but find forums that you like. Maybe like something that resonates with you.

I like the how to forum (this one) because most people genuinely want to help and it’s also a decent place to ask questions.

BDSM and Fetish and sexuality are much more raw. So be careful there. I happen to like both forums but you can see if you like either.

The general board can be a little dicey. And avoid the political forum at all costs! It’s a cesspool.

I would recommend the playground. It’s fun, there’s a lot of non sexual things happening there, the humor is good and mostly good comradery. Some of the humor is a bit to snarky and sarcastic for me, but check it out.
