Very free-spirited and curious, never takes no for an answer.

BACKGROUND:
Her parents, very large fans of the series A Song of Ice and Fire by George R.R Martin, named her after the young, rebellious child of Eddard Stark. It didn't help that they also shared surnames. And almost as if the name itself brought it forth, Arya was indeed very similar in personality to her namesake. Extremely rebellious of all authority, and wanting to be independent and travel the world herself, free from all expectation and just being.

She had decided to stay at home after high school instead of going to college, mainly as a final act of rebellion against her parents. It was this decision that led her to be in Hillsboro at the time of the outbreak. She was returning from hiking in the mountains when she and her friends were attacked by a small group of running zombies. She barely escaped, using her pocket knife as a tool for survival by herself. She was eventually able to join a larger group of survivors, but after a few months the group was overrun and destroyed.

Arya heard that in the nearby city of Eugene a human "settlement," with electricity and a fortified base, had developed. And there was also a rumor that they had somehow figured out a way to control the zombies there. She made the long trek to Eugene and eventually joined up with this large group of rebuilding humans.

She has been waiting her turn to be the guard of the device that is being used to control the zombies, extremely curious how it is done.

WHAT DO YOU HAVE TO OFFER THE GROUP?
She was part of a rather large group of survivors, and has killed many zombies herself. She knows how to use a handgun, and also is adept with spears, a weapon she used before she joined a larger group of humans.

I linked the sheet to the first post, under "New: Building" as your RCP, which should make it clear you'll write her, and others may only mention her, have their character greet her and such, just as we do with the other RCPs, unless two writers have an agreement to write for each other.

Ahh Deaths this tank of yours. Are you sure of those dimensions? I mean you do know how big that thing would be right? It wouldn't fit on any standard Highway and I am talking both sides, guard rail to guard rail. You would need to travel on an eight lane highway (4 lanes each way) just to get anywhere.

It would be longer than a standard cricket oval, or olympic running track stadium. And about as wide.

Maybe you meant feet not meters. Even then rather large but not as large. LOL

It's turrent houses two linked 150mm howitzers as main weapon, secondary is a 100mm smooth bore, machine guns are 4 linked 50 cals, on the body self is six mortars and two belt-fed FNs mounted on each side except the back, six V12 diesel engines and three sets of tracks as propulsion...

Hehe just joking, it's a storage tank, like the one Dutchie showed. Gonna make and store some diesel. But it was probably my last IC post in Rebuild

My post on the "build" thread seems to have jammed up everyone.

Sorry ... I was thinking Daniel would give Cassie the cold shoulder. Cassie could then discuss what is bugging him. Or (knowing Cassie) get pissed off and leave (LOL).

Some ideas for the bigger "build" thread are:

Cassie, Troy and others head up to Portland, Or. not exactly sure why right now. Could be to find a friend for Daniel … could be a desire to help the humans there to retake their city … or just to get supplies … or find Cassie's family ... maybe daniel wants to go up there ... because the entity asked him to go up there, ... etc.

On the way there … they will run into the zombie religion folks … I wanted to have this show up in the "rebuild" thread, but we ran out of stream. It is a fun one … as the bad guys are really off the deep end!!!

Anyhow, they will make it through that encounter and then end up at or near Portland. I figure they will run into a super smart zombie hoard as their entity has LOTS more zombies to draw on. Anyhow … the entity has got humans set up on farms … like cattle. Raises them and the zombies come in and eat them. The small team from Eugene (and anyone they pick up on the way) will need to burst out the humans and figure out a way to disrupt the entity’s control of the zombies. Thus giving Portland a chance to fight back.

Those are my ideas … of coarse Troy and Cassie can develop their personal relationship as well as other team members. I can write for the "evil" characters if you wish. But you need to tell me who they are ... and their motivation.

Those are my thoughts ... other ideas?

*grins* Your post might have been a tiny bit on the hilarious side. I'll have Bart and Ria talking about Cassie when they enter the King's.

Daniel doesn't always live at the King's. It is too far away from Eugene. He wouldn't be able to control the zombies there then. We talked about having the zombies locked up somewhere when there is no use for them, so maybe we should make sure they are there whenever Daniel is on a trip or at the King's.

Portland: I like the idea of the Zombie religion.
Plot idea: Cassie gets a message from her parents from a traveler. A letter in which they plead her to come and get them because they barely made it through the winter, have no supplies, no means anymore they could trade for food. They would tell Cassie they are had to 'sell' themselves to a warlord or something like that.

Of course she wants to get them to the King's. What nobody knows, the Portland Entity makes people write these messages to get new 'cattle'. Because of course people want to get together with their family.

The zombie worshippers became Zombie Worshippers because of this Entity. It makes the zombies help these people sometimes. If they pray hard enough, if they sacrifice enough. Sacrifices of course would be young women ...

It would be interesting if Daniel went along, to see how his Entity interacted with the Entity in Portland, and how he interacts with the Controller there. Arya would have to tag along as well, though. She is integral now, for future storylines.

Yes, or maybe two or three Controllers, all controlled by the Entity. If Daniel really would feel the urge to go to Portland, no-one would really try to stop him, I think.

Of course no-one would know for sure there would be an entity and a controller in Portland, but they would expect it.

Ah!

But Cassie was traveling alone, which would be somewhat okay on or around a well guarded place like the winery, or in Eugene, but it still isn't a very wise thing to do. I think people would travel (even small and smallest distances) in little groups or at least in pairs.
