Looking into each of the categories I usually do, there are NO new stories dated today 10/9.

I usually see them a few hours ago.

Yup. And my story is set to go live today, but is still in pending.

I have had two stories waiting for three days now to be published. One is for the Halloween contest. boo hoo

I monitored the New list closely for a while. In that time there was more than one day when New stories were delayed.

Not sure why that happened in every case, but in cases I did understand it was because site maintenance prevented Laurel from posting on the usual schedule.

Stories also appear on and disappear from the list as the day goes by.
