My story inspired by the Bear vs. Man dilemma has cleared the publishing process. It’s called “Helpful Encounters”.

Autimn 2018- Faith Thomas is a bisexual woman with angst about ever meeting a worthy male lover again after some bad experiences. Then she goes to a vacation resort, my recurring setting Garin-Ruiz, and runs out of gas on the way, gets lost in the woods looking for a cell phone signal. She meets a bear and a strange man named Wouter, neither tries to harm her. In fact Wouter is handsome and helpful, takes her to safety at the resort, and allows her to make the choice about whether to accept his flirting. With encouragement from a celebrity warrior slash psychotherapist (my recurring female character Lisa Coleman) called in by the resort owners, Faith makes a positive decision. This earns her a new friend- Wouter is sincere in his helpful nature and not out to harm her, he’s just a Good Samaritan horndog type. And she likes that type of guy. Sex scenes include a flashback of Faith and her girlfriend at the beginning and Faith & Wouter hooking up at the end.

I also threw in a few meta plot points for my fictional universe. I detail the early days of Garin-Ruiz’s operation. Recurring female character Lisa Coleman has celebrity hook-ups in her past just like her once and future paramour Doug Ramsay and expresses feelings about their college relationship that she didn’t want to end. Those who have read my stories set in later years know she eventually gets her soulmate back in her life. Most of my stories are set during their years of angst before reconnecting or the beginning of their relationship in the late 1990s. Lisa helps Faith in this story. Here’s the link-
