Having been given some incredible (to me) encouragement I'll let everyone that reads this thread know my latest story: "Abigail Slaughter" is new and in the Valentine's day contest. Link in the sig.
It's quite different to anything I've written before and is a kind of mystery (I hope) about a woman, her secretary, a co-worker, and a prospective employee and their various relationships.
I'd love to be able to explain the mystery part here but I'm hoping it's more obvious than I'm beginning to suspect is the case.
Anyone who's read me previously may be expecting stroke. It's not. There isn't even any actual sex.
Feedback is especially welcomed on this.

The second day of our Maiden Voyage story
After a long hiatus, we have finally posted another installment of the story we started together in Maiden Voyage of the Amethyst Dream. It is written in an unusual style (switching from the first person perspective of two different people) with each switch indicated by a Man: or Woman: tag. We realize that this is unusual and that the story might be better told in third person, however, we are sticking with this style for now. We took much of the criticism of the original story and used it to try to make this installment better (less repetition and less formality, more feeling and less describing). We would appreciate any comments on the story line. If you read both stories (links below), I think that you will notice a big difference.
