I place my last box in the foyer of my new house and sigh in relief as I plop down onto the marble staircase.
"Finally," my excitement overtakes me and I'm forced to grip the rails just to keep myself from flying off the handle.
Nothing is unpacked, all of my furniture is still in boxes and wrapped in cellophane, I have no food in my refrigerator, not even toilet tissue to wipe my ass with... But, I'm finally home. My home.
Another squeal of joy escapes my lips before I grab my latotop and sit n my plastic clad couch. My calico cat, Tiger jumps into my lap and curls up as I type a message to you.
We haven't spoken since I've moved out, almost a year ago. Yet, to me it feels like only yesterday. Our tussle over tea not only sent our relationship into a downward spiral, but left me Dom-less, jobless, homeless and broke. You told me to come home, that my pride would be my downfall, but somehow I mysteriously made it on top, despite my disobedience. You'd given me space, which I reveled in, but my heart ached for you, my Dom....
Before I could press send a message from you pops up. Of course...
I look at the subject line, "Congrats on your new house baby girl," I read aloud. I click open and read slowly, your words echoing through my mind as if you were here next to me, whispering them into my ear.
What does it say?
