Does that get complicated at all? I think it might be a bit difficult to for me to dominate my wife, being the mother of our kids. I think it would have been different if we were dom/sub beforehand, but I'm much more dominant than she is submissive.

It's not really that complicated for us. We don't live out the BDSM stuff all the time, we do have a very average, normal marriage and it's not obvious to anyone that we're into this, it's somehting private to us.
We weren't dominant/submissive from the beginning, but over the years it has morphed into that and we both enjoy it a lot. For us it's mainly a sexual thing, not somehting that spills into a regular, every day kind of life very often.
I have always been submisisve and I tend to defer to him a lot, but that's just my nature, I think.

I would have a hard time being a sub for anyone else, I have complete trust and faith in my husband and I would have a hard time submitting without that.
