How great was that? Put an Ortiz shirt in the concrete to curse the Yankees. The only thing that I wasnt all that happy about was that it was for only 30 years. We need one that will last 86 or more. Thats right, go for the big one. :D

I wonder if there will ever be a way to curse them? :confused:

Yes, and he didnt do very well here this weekend.
2 men on, first base open, and after talking to Mussina, he decides to pitch to Manny. Not a smart baseball move. Though, that was only more evident after Manny ripped a 2-run double off the wall.
I LOVE GIRARDI!!!! :D

Hopefully, the Cubbies will be a bit better this year, and get past the first round of the postseason.

I loved Joe Girardi on the Cubs. I still do love him. I'm sure once he gets settled a bit he'll be great. Got some big shoes to fill, big job to do. No pressure, eh?

I think letting Torre go was one of the biggest mistakes the Yankees could have made. Especially the way they did it. That was horrible. But he wasnt unemployed all that long. The Dodgers swooped in and took him. Smart move on their part.

I liked Girardi as a player, except when he was a Yankee, but I think Im going to love him as a manager. :D
