Newbie Story question

Hi all,

I've checked the FAQ's and couldn't find an answer and I'm not sure if it goes here or not but I will ask. I've submitted a story and it says-

****submission pending****

Does anyone know how long it takes to get approved or declined?

Oh, boy! The QUESTION!!!

It takes about three or four days. More, a lot more, if you view your submission again which sends it back to the end of the queue.

It depends on what the editors have on their plates and where you are in the queue. Like if there's some kind of contest going, those submissions will be read ahead of non-contest entries.

I'm not sure on the exact average, but a handful of days to a couple of weeks is a general guideline. Most probably have their submissions approved within a week, barring any big contest running at the time.

Your best bet is to be patient and let it happen in its own time, even though you're excited to see it up and it's tough to wait.

Yeah!!!
The moderators have accepted my story and it is now on the site!

I am now a published author lol

If anyone reads it please be kind as it is my first story.
I proof read it three times but in the final publication I found some errors.
