OK, OK. Uncle! I take it back, and release you from all further obligations to behave. Mostly because I can see I am going to take an enourmous amount of grief in the coming days and weeks... every time you're tempted to speak up, speak out, and generally carouse, you're going to tell everyone you can't because I'll say something. Sooo, go ahead and be yourself. (As IF I could stop you!) But at least this way I am off the hook. (Breathes big sigh of relief.)

So I noticed a subtle bit of language there about your possible Friday night activities, or date... "The gentleman hasn't accepted yet." Meaning, I assume, you asked him? You go girl!

So where does everyone stand on that topic? Would the boys rather be manly men and make the move, or is it OK if a woman asks you out, makes the first move, etc.?

Well, to be fair...I don't think he's actually gotten the invite yet...we'll see later this morning. :D

Unofficial State Motto

Welcome Angel and Xby2. The more the merrier. If you page back you'll see how determined we are to finally keep a NJ bulletin board going here. Glad to have you.

Angel, couldn't help noticing your little quote that goes with your AV, "Living in the land of sex." Perhaps we all should adopt this is our unofficial NJ motto here? Thus finally proving that our fair state is not at all what it seems?

asking guys out

I don't mind asking a guy to go out...but I also don't sit around waiting for an answer. Sometimes I just take the bull by the horns and go out by myself. There are worse things! Right?
The sun is coming up over the ocean....it is so beautiful. I am jealous of those of you who live by the beach.....

and I think that we've gotten just the right balance of innuendo and silliness and toplessness and sports and everything Jersey!!!

Now I'll shut up....

Awwwww...but I was enjoying giving you grief Jerseyman! Now you are taking all my fun away!!! (oh c'mon...you know I like ya!!! )

Yes...I asked him. Of course, after reading all this he might turn me down flat!! LOL

I'd love to say, as a member of the female species, that I would like to make the first move, but sad to say, I'm a throwback...I like the men to ask. But in this case, he did ask....and I was not able to accept at the time. I now have the opportunity, so I asked. Sometimes circumstances rule behavior (shut up Jerseyman!!! LOL).

Slowgo and Fire, you're both right. Slowgo, there's nothing wrong with taking the bull by the horns, and going out yourself, and to carry Fire one step further (yeah, right, like she needs any help at all), that is often how you find yourself in circumstances that can rule behavior. Fire, I love that line, circumstances rule behavior. Let yourself be open to the possibilities, and sometimes, you just never know, something wonderful may happen. (See? I wasn't even busting on you!) I like both your world views.

Truthfully Fire, your tag line is better. I was just trying to uphold the Jersey theme, which, I must admit, seems to be a losing battle. I can admit defeat when I see it. Your tag line is better (sorry Angel) because it leaves more to the imagination, and as my grandmother always said, "It's always best to leave something to the imagination." Of course, she was talking about bikinis, (and lord only knows what she'd think about thongs now), not word play, but I think the theory holds for words as well. So what exactly qualifies as, "Erotically devious?" And no half answers allowed. Hit us with the bare naked truth. (See? I even gave you an "out" there to make a joke and get out of this!)

Erotically devious is a fancy phrase for the dirtiest mind...which i used to have as a graphic in my signature. Erotically devious means never being afraid to push the evelope for pleasure...

ANd thank you for the compliments!!! And you notice...i didn't comment on the Bare Naked Truth...do I get points for that?

Happy Sat. everyone!!! Good job keeping us on the first page. Don't give up on us Jerseyman, we're really making a valliant effort this time.

Welcome Angel and xby2!

And Finn hows the collection going??? I greatly appreciate it......Johns Hopkins is $ 46,000 a year so I might need more like $200,000 if that's the one he picks!!!! Yikes!

Thanks for the offer Fire, I know I can count on you babe!!!
Have a great weekend all!!!

erotically devious is knowing what will happen if just the right words are said..just the right hints given, but doing so with the image of having no idea what's happening.......being thought of as innocent when perhaps innocent is not quite the correct word...

erotically devious is unlocking the mind to allow the body to experience

jerseyman-

i agree with grandma! a hint is much more erotic than a blatant in your face
kind of image....works for me anyway

Wow Slowgo, you really hopped on that one! And it's not even your tag line! Although it obviously rings a bell for several of us.

Beachlover... I was going to say that $100,000 might not even be enough for college, and alas, it seems that it's true. I don't have kids, and I don't know how anyone puts themselves through a good school or puts their kids through a good school any more without bankrupting themselves. Seriously. What ahuge problem that is. Getting a leg up in the world is such a crushing financial burden now, how does anyone do it? However, you must be very, very proud to have a son that might go to Hopkins. Nice job on the parenting!

Fire... yes, you totally get points for not taking the bare naked truth bait. Good girl. And yes, I think that just maybe I could believe you're actually quite shy in person. Well, I could almost believe it. But I think that's why "erotically devious" rings a bell for us. Sometimes, people are not what they seem, and at least speaking for myself, that's a fascinating and tantalyzing thought. As Slow says, "...erotically devious is being thought of as innocent when perhaps innocent is not quite the correct word, unlocking the mind to allow the body to experience what will happen if just the right words are said, just the right hints given, but doing so with the image of having no idea what's happening..."

Yeah, that moment when you transcend your mind and live in the moment and something totally wonderful happens when mind and body click together and you have an experience that's just cosmically right and satisfying and it doesn't matter if it lasts a year or an hour because right then it's perfect for you in that moment...

I can believe you're shy in person, and one of the intriguing things for me is when you meet someone or know them in one way, and then wonder, well, what's this man/women (depending on your orientation) like if the circumstances changed? If we knew we could trust each other like that? If we weren't or didn't have to be afraid of possible consequences?

I feel like I better find something goofy or crass or superficial to say soon, or I'm going to start thinking too hard again!

isn't it amazing how philosophical one can be so early in the morning on a
gray and rainy day??

and why am I not sleeping?
