OK, OK. Uncle! I take it back, and release you from all further obligations to behave. Mostly because I can see I am going to take an enourmous amount of grief in the coming days and weeks... every time you're tempted to speak up, speak out, and generally carouse, you're going to tell everyone you can't because I'll say something. Sooo, go ahead and be yourself. (As IF I could stop you!) But at least this way I am off the hook. (Breathes big sigh of relief.)

So I noticed a subtle bit of language there about your possible Friday night activities, or date... "The gentleman hasn't accepted yet." Meaning, I assume, you asked him? You go girl!

So where does everyone stand on that topic? Would the boys rather be manly men and make the move, or is it OK if a woman asks you out, makes the first move, etc.?

I don't mind asking a guy to go out...but I also don't sit around waiting for an answer. Sometimes I just take the bull by the horns and go out by myself. There are worse things! Right?
The sun is coming up over the ocean....it is so beautiful. I am jealous of those of you who live by the beach.....

I'd love to say, as a member of the female species, that I would like to make the first move, but sad to say, I'm a throwback...I like the men to ask. But in this case, he did ask....and I was not able to accept at the time. I now have the opportunity, so I asked. Sometimes circumstances rule behavior (shut up Jerseyman!!! LOL).

Slowgo, there's nothing wrong with taking the bull by the horns, and going out yourself, and to carry Fire one step further (yeah, right, like she needs any help at all), that is often how you find yourself in circumstances that can rule behavior. Your tag line is better (sorry Angel) because it leaves more to the imagination, and as my grandmother always said, "It's always best to leave something to the imagination." Of course, she was talking about bikinis, (and lord only knows what she'd think about thongs now), not word play, but I think the theory holds for words as well. So what exactly qualifies as, "Erotically devious?" And no half answers allowed. Hit us with the bare naked truth. (See? I even gave you an "out" there to make a joke and get out of this!)

Beachlover... I was going to say that $100,000 might not even be enough for college, and alas, it seems that it's true. I don't have kids, and I don't know how anyone puts themselves through a good school or puts their kids through a good school any more without bankrupting themselves. Seriously. What ahuge problem that is. Getting a leg up in the world is such a crushing financial burden now, how does anyone do it? However, you must be very, very proud to have a son that might go to Hopkins. Nice job on the parenting!

Well, I could almost believe it. But I think that's why "erotically devious" rings a bell for us. Sometimes, people are not what they seem, and at least speaking for myself, that's a fascinating and tantalyzing thought.
