No More Mail-in Voting for Dem Areas

It should be obvious that in trumps America you had better get to the polls early. Screw the trumptards.
They are also cutting down on polling stations in Dem areas to make the lines stretch for miles with no refreshments allowed.

Then cutting off voting at the allotted time no matter how long people have been waiting. It's depressing how easy and obvious it is for Trump supporters to rig elections. They don't even need to fill in votes for their dead relatives any longer.

Not sure the USPS is a GOP bastion. That said, I can see them refusing to deliver to or pick up from the ghetto. That could be yuge for our side. Viva SCOTUS! Viva USPS!

Whatever practical problems this presents will manifest in the midterms and be ironed out by 2028, an election which will involve a LOT of mail-in ballots.

But they deliver to and pick up from the ghetto every day NOW. Ballots are just one more kind of mail.

In Deep Blue California, mail in voting is mostly a seniors thing. Also more of a GOP thing. Registered Republicans use it more than other groups.

Now if Donald Trump mails in his ballot, like he did last time, and it doesn't get there . . .

As a Florida resident, he can have his ballot delivered in person if he doesn’t trust the mail. Ballots can be tracked online to make sure they’ve been received and recorded. He just needs to make sure his ballot is received by 7 pm Election Day. In Florida, votes need to be in on Election Day.

Oh, he definitely doesn't trust the mail. At least, not for other people's ballots!

I’ve had enough late deliveries and lost letters in my life to not trust the USPS to always be on time. Not a complaint. They do a great job most of the time, but when sending important letters and packages, extra precautions are warranted. I vote early whenever possible and check my ballot status online.

I don’t vote in CA anymore but still follow the elections out there. Early voting in the CA primaries started a month ago and more than 1/3 of the expected ballots (based on recent election history) are already turned in. More than half have come from Boomers 65 and older, and Gen Z registered voter turnout is barely showing up on the radar.

I think the governments in your states deliberately make it hard to get to polling places, especially in poor places. Sad that they know their policies are so bad for the people they want to be sure only their fanatical supporters are going to be the ones casting ballots!

Not sure what states you’re referring to. I’ve lived in 5 different states in my adult life spanning the west, east, south and north parts the US and voting has been incredibly easy in each of them.

You're not feeding the narrative. Anything that might be considered an inconvenience is turned into a catastrophe.

🙄

Perhaps BabyBoobs (a POS MAGAt) would care to share what “poor places” they lived RECENTLY (after the RECENT changes to voting access)???

🤔

I’m sure if you worked hard enough at it you could find some isolated place in the hinterland without postal service or internet connectivity, and no early voting options. Why don’t you give it a shot and tell us where in the US it’s hard to vote.

California makes it incredibly hard for voters between the ages of 18 and 29 to cast their ballots. They only have a month to mail in their ballots or drop them off. Otherwise they face the nightmare of having to show up in person on Election Day. And they don’t even have polling stations at Starbucks! No wonder only 3.9 of them have turned out after almost a month!

Seniors out there have a 27.3% turnout so far because they cast their ballots during Early Bird Dinner Specials at Dennys.

Stop worrying about who's winning a election and start organizing against both parties.

The Republicans are going to win an election eventually. As long as they're on the ballot they'll win. You must know this. So bring the whole damn government to the left and get what you want passed by both parties.

In the white, well-off districts, yes, but . . .

Ah yes. Some states require registration before Election Day, some require some form of voter ID, and only 47 have early voting. That makes voting extremely difficult. Almost impossible actually. Lol.
Read the article again, and concentrate on the shortages of polling places, the voter roll purges, the cost of getting an ID, the barriers for people with disabilities, the voter intimidation etc.
