Speaker of the House Rep. Paul Ryan (R-WI) gave an eye-wateringly awkward performance on CBS’ 60 Minutes on Sunday.

Ryan attempted to dodge interviewer Scott Pelley’s questions by pretending he didn’t know anything about President-elect Donald Trump’s contention that “millions of people” voted illegally for Democratic nominee Hillary Clinton.

As he blinked uncomfortably, it appeared Ryan might even be on the verge of asking, “What’s a tweet?” or “I’ve heard of this Donald Trump fellow you mentioned. Who is he, again?”

“Trump tweeted in the last week or so that he had actually won the popular vote if you deduct the millions that voted illegally,” Pelley asked Ryan. “Do you believe that?”

“I don’t know, I’m not really focused on these things,” Ryan replied.

“Wait a minute, wait a minute,” said Pelley. “You have an opinion on whether millions of Americans voted illegally.”

“I have no way of backing that up,” Ryan said. “I have no knowledge of such things.”

There were quite a few things that Nixon claimed to have no knowledge of. Reagan too, didn't know about some stuff he really should have.

Do you believe that he is just exaggerating based upon his own investigations, or isn't it more logical that he this pulling shit out of his Ass and waving it in the air to divert the masses from his Basket of Deplorables, thru which he expects will help him achieve his goals?

But the point of my recent post was Paul Ryan, Speaker of the House, Congressional leader of the Majority is unwilling to call a spade a spade based upon the observation of facts and historical precedence. This is one of most servile acts I have ever seen at that level! Sam Rayburn or Tip O'Neill would never tuck his tail and suck Trump's dick like Ryan does.

Well, I hope that, unlike the Pubs under Obama, they will not automatically oppose every single thing that comes out of the WH, but evaluate each policy proposal on its own merits and obstruct only those that are clearly objectionable and bad for the country.

Which will be most of them, I fear.

Nobody ever said that.

Nancy Pelosi said that the Congress has to pass the ACA bill before anyone outside of Congress can know what's in it. That is true of every single bill that goes through Congress. They are always being changed up to the last minute. Not even the Senate can really know what's in a bill before it gets through Congress.

Let me tell you the basic difference between "we have to pass it" and "you have to pass it". One involves a group of which the speaker is a member, and the other involves another or others besides the speaker.

This simple distinction substantially alters the meaning of the quote.

Now put the dunce cap on and sit in the corner.
