Nobody seems to be discussing this about Project 2025

Not at all wrong, that's why you can't try to argue it. They've been so overt and in everyone's face about it for so long how could you even try to argue otherwise??

You'll just get laughed at by anyone who doesn't receive their worldview from Salon/MSNBC.
There is no such thing as a "race socialist."

It took a long struggle in American history to replace the spoils system of patronage jobs in the federal civil service, as post-election rewards for the winner's supporters, with a professional, job-protected, politically independent civil service. Achieved by the Pendleton Civil Service Reform Act of 1883.

Project 2025 would roll that back significantly -- vastly reducing the number of civil-service jobs and increasing the number of patronage jobs filled by the president's choice.

I've often heard it said RWs want turn back the clock to 1955.

But to 1882?!
It's a boogey man of the left who are too lazy to have read the 900 plus page "project" which is the present day version of a leadership series that has been around since 1981, but they go ahead and pontificate and fear monger just the same. Yes this conservative government is going to reform the federal bureaucracy, diminish its size and costs, and reduce its regulatory authority.

That is unacceptable and incredibly stupid, if it is anything like what is described in post #14.

So far, Trump does appear committed to carrying out at least this aspect of P2025 -- purging as many civil servants as possible, and replacing them with his own appointees.

This degree of expansion of presidential power does mean Nazis and it's no LOLing matter.

It is a LOLing matter because not getting your way doesn't mean nazis or expansion of power.

You're just a petulant child who didn't get their way.

GOOD!! THAT'S WHAT HE WAS ELECTED TO DO!!!

THAT'S DEMOCRACY!!!

Maybe if democrats learned that doing some of the stuff that the people who vote for you, want you to do is how you stay in office, they wouldn't be losing to the most hated man on the planet.

Yes, they cheered him when he spoke of retribution on his enemies - little did they realise that he also considered them his enemy as they didn't vote for him in 2020 - he's a petulant child who is still angry over the lack of sufficient loyalty to reelect him in 2020 - so he's now going to push the limits to make people prove their loyalty I.e. Pushing the limits by making them suffer.

Look how he humiliates those who are "his acolytes" - he is making them prove their ultimate loyalty by undergoing ultimate humiliation & suffering

Trump literally said before the election that he knew nothing of Project 2025.

He was not elected to implement it, although he has done little else (apart from play golf).
