Yes, ours falls in October. Although it's a statutory holiday, it's lost it's meaning.
I just like food. And drinking. So a plus for me.

Mmmmm... We eat ham!!! Delicious sweet and smoky ham.

Actually my family does a whole German feast for Christmas, but we're a little off. :rolleyes:

I like holidays. For the non-commercial stuff. And I don't have too many crazy relatives... (Okay I lied. I have a few, hence the stuffing my face and drinking aspect.) But then again what holiday comes incomplete without them right?

Otherwise, holidays would be supreme.
More or less, all holidays should just be taken off of work.
Here in Canada-land we have Family Day in February.

Another day to eat and drink in my books. :)

Miss Stephanie is hilarious - like something out of Gone With The Wind! MGG for me, then. And yes, food and drinking and a day off work pretty much ARE the meaning of most holidays now. And damn good meanings too.
