It's not a ponzi scheme in the true sense of the word but most insurance is. I've definitely paid many thousands of dollars more in car insurance than it's paid out and half of the times I have used it it was simply because it was there and wouldn't change my rates.

We've made great inroads in my lifetime lowering the number of people without access to health care. Much of the improvement occurred since the adoption of the ACA.

Yes, I know that, but I also know the USA has free clinics provided by internal and external charities. Like the one, I provided a link to. They also have people crossing the border into Canada to take advantage of their healthcare. In fact, Sarah Palin goes on record as saying that her family used to do just that. Remember Obama admitted that he lied about everything in Obamacare and that he did so because the people were stupid (his followers) and that included such great minds as Princess Nancy and the cattle thief Read and the other members of Congress that didn't even read it, but just followed their orders like the mindless cattle they are. It was written for the insurance companies and not for the betterment of the people. Look at the Veterans Administration and how corrupt and poorly run it is under his watch. And there have been no changes to improve it. Look at the mess he has made of Medicare. There are so many ways and things that could improve health care, yet his and Mrs. Clinton's plan are nothing but corruption, cheating, and expensive. Think about it if a person can not afford the high cost of Obamacare then how in the world are they going to afford the high fines - which are a tax - Obama wants to ring out of them? Most doctors won't take Obamacare because it is such a mess and costly. And the main insurance company he is in with has said they were dropping it. I understand that some people are blind and deaf when it comes to politics. They are party members first and Americans second and will vote for a Hitler or a Stalin or a dog as long as it is a member of their party. But try and be normal, human, use the brain you have and explore and see what and who is behind and the truth about the issues. For one thing do not believe a man who calls you stupid and won't allow people to read what is in he bill till it has been passed.
