I've definitely enjoyed your photos as well.

I agree there are some issues, but there are also some benefits with this new software. The silly 150-message PM limit seems to be gone.
The editor is better. The search is better and faster. And the site in general runs better and faster on XenForo vs. the clunky and particularly badly written code of a lot of the previous vBulletin system. Give it a couple of weeks to let the geeks get it dialed in. People always hate change.

I am not a fan of change format. Trying to work it out. See many quiting .social media feeling is big turn off.

I'm not a big fan of the share button either and I don't post pics here. My wife used to have a thread here, the idea that someone could have shared her pictures that easily to a vanilla platform so easily would have given us pause.

Yeah like I said...I realize it could've been shared before. They've just made it too easy.

I can't know their thought process, but to be fair AmPyx isn't the focus of this site. So I can see how it would be useful for writers and maybe they have a vision for that.

Maybe. I haven’t written a story for this site in years, so I don’t know. However, I did see some comments on one of my stories lamenting the fact that I haven’t continued it. I wouldn’t have seen that without the updates. Nice, but it doesn’t outweigh the problems of this new setup.

AMPICS has always been a tremendous draw to lurkers and new Liter's, it and the story side have always shown up on search engines. That's how I first came to Lit circa '05 under another user name. I left and lost all of that info. Now the share function is of concern, plus the new layout is requiring a ground-up learn it over routine. I cannot fault anyone who decides that this new format and sharing function is enough to make them leave. Plus the buddy list changing to following and followers all viewable to others is problematic.

It probably will...and it is much easier and quicker to use and interact with people in some ways. I've noticed a change too...it's not good or bad just different. Life is change...no use in getting your panties in a bunch over it...if you're wearing any
