Obama Administration Most Opaque In History

I am not sure that being intolerant of witch hunts is something meaningful or interesting, unless, of course, you are conducting the witch hunt.

The so-called censure and denials are mostly around personal privacy or to prevent the exposure of business secrets or to protect confidential decision-making.

Given those reasons for the redaction and denials to disclose I think it would be important to know what questions are being asked, what information is being requested and for what purpose if you really want to make the case that the Administration is being "opaque". Anyone have any knowledge about that?

What was wrong with Cotton's speech?

This.

"The world is growing ever more dangerous, and our defense spending is wholly inadequate to confront the danger," Cotton said. "To be exact, during the last four or five years, the world has grown gravely darker. We have steadily disarmed, partly with a sincere desire to give a lead to other countries and partly due to the severe financial pressure of the time. But a change must now be made. We must not continue longer on a course in which we alone are growing weaker while every other nation is growing stronger."

He continued: "I wish I could take credit for those eloquent but ominous words, but I cannot. Winston Churchill sounded that warning in 1933 as Adolf Hitler had taken power in Germany. Tragically, Great Britain and the West didn't heed this warning, when they might have strangled that monster in his crib. Rather they let the locust continue to eat away at the common defense."

Cotton lamented that President Barack Obama was apologizing for America's actions, and accused the administration of being "harsh and unyielding to our friends" and "soothing and suffocating to our enemies."

Which is all lies, apart from being Godwinized.

I have this weird feeling I'm on drugs because the charge of the title is actually a valid, reality-based gripe one can have with this administration, if one is a friend of the press or the First Amendment in general.

I've debunked that bolded statement several times. List those dixecrats who flocked to the GOP.

You have denied it, but you haven't debunked shit.

The Conservative Southern Democrats (also known as Dixiecrats), from "solid south" states that now are Republican strongholds. Alabama Arkansas, Florida, Georgia, Kentucky, Louisiana, Mississippi, North Carolina, Oklahoma, South Carolina, Tennessee, Texas, Virginia, West Virginia. All went Democratic in nearly every Presidential election until around 1964. The Civil rights Act drove those states to vote Republican and the rest, as they say, is history.

Kerry called American Vietnam veterans war criminals, he's a liar.

Among dozens of other piles of bullshit, Algore predicted that the North Pole could be completely melted by 2014 due to the impending threat of global warming. He lied because he's insane.

The Democrat Party isn't about the democratic process, never has been, it about the KKK, slavery, Jim Crow, Segregation, class warfare, limits on freedom, dividing the nation by race, gender, religion, and class. It undermines the Constitution at every turn with imperial actions and advances much of its agenda from the bench by unelected judges. Sorry, it isn't democratic.

When you say can and it doesn't happen you don't become a liar.

The racist crap has been blown away by the others so lets tackle some of the rest of this.

Class Warfare in America doesn't happen half as much as it should the lower an middle classes have fooled themselves into thinking they owe the rich thanks for putting up with us.

Yes there are limites on freedom that can and should happen but I'm curious what specific freedoms (aside from gun control) that you think the Democrat Party is after? It's not freedom of choice or religion. As much as I despise Hillary on her video game stance lets not pretend that's even close to being anything but a religion thing.

The country is divided by race, gender, class and religion. Ignoring it doesn't help anything.

Nobody ever gives a shit about the Constitution until they are losing an argument. Conservatives are everybit as likely to undermine it and depending on which things you hold most dear in worse ways.

Says the champion of a party that's currently begging for activist judges to crush the will of the voter across the country...LMFAO

Idk weather to scorn you for your dishonest bullshit....

or feel bad for the fact you're so ignorant you don't even see it.

What am I saying...you're the guy who sill stare 2+2=4 in the face and call it commie propaganda, GOP said 2+2=5 and that's all vettey needs to know.

Cannabis.....it's got conservatives wanting activist judges, shit canning 10A and states rights, free market/capitalism....man vette and buddies fucking hat those things so god damn bad they wanted to impeach Obama for supporting them. LMFAO

Right vetteman?? :D

Let's hear some more about your love for federal supremacy....when it's convenient for you and your political views, but unamerican commie bullshit repugnant to the constitution when it doesn't jive with vetteyism. :D

Show us a reputable source to back your claim.

BTW, being all educated ans hit, how about answering BBs question about Cotton's speech. What was wrong with Cotton's speech? Where is my proof of NK having nukes in the 50s and 60s?

lOlwut?

I don't read BusyDummy's racist screed. You'll have to clarify the question or by Cotton's speech do you mean Cotton invoking Godwin's Law less than a minute into his first Senate Speech?

That in and of itself says exactly what sort of ideological idiot he is.

But, but,, HITLER!

He reads dizzybbooby because racism.

Where are you Busybody? No comment on what information is being requested and for what purpose?

Ahem. Virginia's two U.S. senators and its governor (and lieutenant governor) are Democrats--and not in any shape or form Dixiecrats. Granted, though, that most of it's congressional delegation is composed of Neandrathal Republicans, but that's because they gerrymandered the districts ridiculously when the Republicans last held the statehouse. (A governor who now is going to prison.)

Nothing at all wrong there, he speaks the truth about Obama.

He does not. Obama is not "harsh and unyielding to our friends" nor "soothing and suffocating to our enemies." Just ask Osama bin Laden -- oh, wait, you can't.

Why don't you ever confirm the bullshit you post? None of the following statement is untrue.

http://www.nobelprize.org/nobel_prizes/peace/laureates/2007/gore-lecture_en.html
Last September 21 (2007), as the Northern Hemisphere tilted away from the sun, scientists reported with unprecedented distress that the North Polar ice cap is "falling off a cliff." One study estimated that it could be completely gone during summer in less than 22 years. Another new study, to be presented by U.S. Navy researchers later this week, warns it could happen in as little as 7 years.

Those in the press have been sort of meek about saying so, but they have sued for access a record number of times. It is weird though that the administration fears judges and eventually relents, but has no fear from congress which should be able to zero out budgets till they get compliance.

The judges are playing a different game though. When Congress does it, it's hard not to look incredibly petty. If you delay money, especially to the troops, you better damn well find a smoking gun. A judge gives zero fucks.
