Obama Goes to Cuba

there was a time when i would've been jealous of the cigars, but that was before i realized what a chore it was to smoke a cigar. those things take fucking forever to smoke. it's maddening. if i'm gonna kill myself i'll stick to cigarettes because i just don't have the patience anymore.

There was just a piece on NPR the other day about it. For Americans, flying from America, you have to have a special permit, you have to be traveling for business, educational, religious, etc reasons. You have to document everywhere you go and everyone you talk to. You're not allowed, by US rules, to go to the beach or any "resort" or "holiday" type places. There are a number of other rules I can't recall at the moment.
Ah, another is that you have to keep all your documentation of who/what/when/where for 5 or 7 years.

I have been told that the food sucks in general. I have always heard, don't go to Cuba for the food and always stay in a 4 or 5 star resort.
