I’ve not seen anything quite like this , but apologies if I’m just crap at searching !
Many years ago now , when we lived in Kent we had quite a wide circle of friends all rather similar- 30s professionals , most with young kids or looking to start families etc. Lots of socialising and dinner parties etc but none were close friends , but a bit more than acquaintances. There were one or two ‘ flings’ inevitably , rather more gossip , but nothing untoward or likely to lead to a Literotica story!

Except maybe this one couple. He something financial - long commute every day to London, she a local primary school teacher. First I heard a rumour , through my wife , that she might be having an affair. A bit shocked as she didn’t seem the type - him yes, but not her I thought. However , gradually this came to be ‘ common knowledge’ among our circle. She didn’t make any great effort to conceal it- her lover was seen regularly leaving her house in good time before husband got home . (One of our friends had made it her business to park nearby and observe!)

And after a while, furthermore among the wives (but not us husbands) she was it seemed quite happy to acknowledge and chat about it! My wife told me she wasn’t in the least awkward or ashamed , had no intention whatsoever of either leaving her husband, or telling him of her little bit of fun as she apparently described it. Naturally we were all agog. We all carried on having our social get togethers, and she would be there, with her husband , the only difference we could see was that she seemed much more confident , outgoing and, it has to be said , happy than we had previously found her. We all speculated whether the husband was one of these ‘ cuckolds’ we had heard of who got off on their wives fucking other men , but he genuinely appeared absolutely oblivious- literally the only person present unaware of his wife’s unfaithfulness.

I know little of how things developed in fact as I was transferred to Manchester and as I said these weren’t really close friends and apart from Christmas cards we lost touch with that circle . My wife did have some desultory contact with one other wife who for a while kept her up to date with gossip but there was no news about the couple concerned. But I have often since then constructed fantasies in my mind about what was really happening there. And I think the hottest of them involve the husband being truly completely in the dark , while his wife indulged in ever more depraved sexual adventures.

"Oblivious cuckold" is redundant. By definition, a cuckold is oblivious to his wife's infidelity, and of the fact that everyone is laughing at him behind his back.

I know that the term is often misused these days, being applied to a knowing and accepting wimp of a husband with a cheating wife, but technically that is not a cuckold. That person is a wittol.


Now someone will come along and say, "get hip, grandpa; words mean what we mean when we say them, even if they are technically wrong. Since that's how it's used nowadays, that's what it means." Bah!!

I've a story idea I've been kicking around between my ears, about just such a couple. She's 48 amd he's 68. She's not a trophy wife per-se, but she does look the part. It's more a marriage of convenience. They have known each other for decades and they have a sexual past together.

After she's forced to retire for health reasons, he suggests marriage. They marry, but he's been single so long and has a single man's life. Golf, fishing, poker night, and an elaborate model train layout in the basement.

With so much time on her hands now, she has several lovers that she fits into her husbands hobby schedule. Neighbors, tradesmen, her husbands son from his first marriage.

I just finished a series where the FMC was a complete sub to her man, and I really enjoyed the unapologetic slut character. I think this wife is one and always has been.

It wil be the most blatant cheating wife story I've ever done and I'm sure the torches and pitchforks brigade will gag on it big time. The old man might suspect, based on her past which he is part of, but she's very descrete.

As said above, the "unbeknownst to him" is superfluous.

I've written a couple like this but generally I like to give a reason for the wife's infidelity rather than it simply being a case of wantonness on her part. Usually a matter of lack of fulfilment in one way or another.

I'm working on something similar to this, but it's not an erotic story. A newcomer to a neighborhood discovers that one of his neighbors is having an affair, then shares the information with one of the stay at home moms in the neighborhood. She tells him that the wife has done it for years, the husband is clueless, and that it would be best if things were kept that way.

Several different people talk with him to convince him to not tell her husband. Everyone but the husband knows, but the community keeps quiet about it, each for their own reasons, but mostly for what they see as benign ones. The wife really loves the husband and absolutely dotes on him, so why ruin his life over something he'll never know about? Why screw up their kids' lives over a couple of hours a week? etc. The story is about this guy grappling with all of this, what he decides, and the fallout of his decision.

I don’t find it particularly erotic, but different strokes. That certainly isn’t going to be the focus, but for someone who’s into that kind of thing, it may be interesting to see the agonizing over it be from a different perspective, I.e. not the husband or wife.

I think that the challenge to writing this sort of story is that, realistically, from the perspective of an outsider who finds out about this, there is very little actual sex to write about. It is more finding out about it and just knowing about it feels erotic.

I suppose it can be written from her perspective... and try and get in her head and explore her motivations and emotions around it.

I love the idea. It won't appeal to everyone because it has a subtle element. But oh its deliciously psychological. Its different from most cuckold stories since the main male character is unaware of what his wife and the readers know. Its hot that she's even telling her friends. I could see a plot twist where the wife tells her husband's sister about the cheating, and the readers finally think he's gonna be told. But much to our surprise, his sister doesn't tell him, she finds it funny and loves the female empowerment of it all.

I was going to start a thread asking for people's thoughts on cuckold/cheating stories but saw that this one had been started. Amongst my many stories that sit in my draft folder waiting to be finished are 4 or 5 that have cuckolding or cheating as the main theme. I tend to opt for the wife acting in revenge to her husbands infidelity. The problem I'm having with these stories is that I can't sympathise with the wife at all and I think she's perhaps going too far, so I can't expect the reader to either.

I can usually tell what sort of story I'm reading within the first few paragraphs, so I can't understand why they keep reading if they don't like the theme. Plus this is a website for erotic FICTION, so they are getting mad at a made up person in a made up scenario. Would it be better if Cuckold had its own category?

In my opinion, cheating (where the spouse is unaware and would be disproving of, the sex outside the marriage) is the ultimate betrayal. So I can totally sympathize with anyone who's been cheated upon. If the wife fucked the starting roster or the K.C. Chiefs afterward, I figure she's justified.

Yes, in my opinion Cuckold/Humiliation should have it's own category. But there are a couple of category changes that "should" happen but they won't. That's not a complaint, just a statement of fact. Laurel and Manu have a huge job running this site and I'm happy for what we have.

I guess I'll have to keep to keep plugging away at these stories and see how they pan out. The one I'm enjoying writing the most at the moment features a young couple who have a financially strained relationship. They bicker and name call but there is love, although again it peaks and troughs.
She's aware that he's been hiding money for a little treat for himself but when they need the cash to pay their landlord and for some repairs, it comes to a head. She gets a bit flirty with the landlord and discovers a large, hard bulge snaking it's way down his thigh. This is where her curiosity takes over. There will be a further catalyst to tip the s

I have to admit, that I don't know what most of that means other than Kansas City Chiefs. But on the subject of sports and games, I'm about to publish a story where a couple get it on on a snooker table. It's not vital that the reader knows about snooker but a little knowledge may help.
