not sure if that helps TN, but .. the shorter my hair is the more sexy I feel (ok, I have my limit at about 3 cm in length, no shorter than that). Makes me feel strong and really good about myself to get a new cool haircut, and there is so much more you can do with short hair. All the colours and stuff you can use because you don't have to worry about the damage the stuff does (you see, it is going to be cut of again shortly so, who cares??) The really cool and extraordinary haircuts you can get - no problem with experimenting, you can always have a new haircut in another 3 weeks or so if you didn't like the previous one ...
I was shocked when at first my long blond curls fell about 13 years ago (in addition to cutting it off I had it coloured a fiery coppery red at the same time, being a quite light natural blonde - so talk about a complete image change *lol*) - but since then I have only gone short and shorter .. no way I will return to "feminine long" .. I'll stay with my "short, sexy and strong" *s*
... and I have such a good excuse to be spoiled at the hairdresser every two or so weeks *g*

yes, it does help and thanks. I'm starting to get used to my new look. I've had a lot of compliments on it and people have even said they like it better than when it was long.. even my exbeau who said that he would KILL me if I cut it off, so that's a pretty good indication that it looks ok. (smile)
I just don't like going to the hairdresser at all. I never have and I suppose I never will. It will be months before I go back and even then I'll go grudgingly.
Your change sounds wonderful! I've thought about going to a red but I have never gotten the balls enough to do it yet. Still a blondie.

TN my hair is short too and I like it. As for everyone else, well if they don't like it too bad. If you think it looks good after the shock wears off that's all that matters.
I wish I could have long hair and I did at one time, like down to the middle of my back but it was so much to care for and it never looked right because my hair's really thin, but I actually think I look better in short hair myself.
I'm sure you look fine you're just not used to it.

TN is a very beautiful lady and it's no secret about her great looks, blonde hair and beautiful smile.
I just stumbled upon this pic and it represents "a close proximity" to how TN actuallylooks - this of course with long hair.
Only TN's was longer even. And she's prettier - not so jowley.
Hope you don't mind babe - the guys will be drooling. Maybe some of the women too.
