It gets my panties in a bunch to see teenagers in my neighborhood (12-13-14 yo) lighting up like it's cool or something...I sometimes ask them why they do it (knowing fully well the answer) and they never can say. It' s "uncool" to say "because it makes me look cool".
I always tell'em "Yeah it's real cool to listen to someone hacking up phlegm every morning." Sort of kills the attraction. I even try to appeal to the vanity these young ladies exhibit. I tell them that it will destroy their looks by the time they are thirty. Or at least age them quickly...it does. Most women who smoke and have for a while look 10 years older than they are..and men, it can lead to impotence God forbid!. Breathing is good...I do it as much as I can.
