Old classic movies!

I think I'm getting the Warner Brothers Gangster's Collection DVD box set for my birthday.... mmmmmmmmm....

Its got White Heat, The Public Enemy, Angels With Dirty Faces, Little Caesar, The Petrified Forest, and The Roaring Twenties.

The best thing about this is that each movie comes with something called "Warner Night At The Movies" which means that we get to see an old short, trailer, newsreel, and cartoon before the movie.

I AM SO EXCITED

I have to agree that scares me more than anything else I've seen. Hellraiser is a laughable field of daisies romp by comparison - Audition? Marathon Man? Whatevs. That film took something so mundane, something I even like (I like birds) and made it totally horrifying.

I watched Midnight Cowboy last night, Dustin Hoffman & John Voight, what Marathon Man did for interrogation scenes , the prior does for total dysfunction. Thats a love hate flick, one minute impressed by the friendship of the characters the next totally squicked out. I'll be sure to watch it again sometime:cool:

Okay what about On the Waterfront with Marlon Brando that had mobster elements. BTW you're spoilt, just sayun.

Was this the queue for the "Dear Penthouse" letter that some very lucky boy you babysat would later write?

I hope not!

A couple more movies sprung to mind once I got some sleep...

Dr Strangelove
Night of the Iguana (Richard is so hawt)
The Maltese Falcon
The Manchurian Candidate

On The Waterfront is a great movie, and yeah its got some mobster elements, but I don't know if I would consider it a Gangster Movie. Maybe. I never thought about it.

And I am not spoilt! I am just well taken care of.

Cat People, the original.

The remake with Kinski was good to, but for a b/w fifties film, its a classic.
