Old School Musicianship… Rock and Roll.. Jazz… Blues… Big Band even…

Read it like Rod Sterling…

Picture in your mind… a slightly drunk hippy chick… playing her red Stratocaster… dancing around her living room.. playing along with classic tunes from decades ago… her denim skirt flying... her bare feet dancing around the tile floor… the influences are obvious, Brian May, Jimmy Page… and are those harmonics inspired by Eddie? …the rhythm and the beat of the music overcomes you….

Yep. That’s me. 🤣🤣🤣

Birthday wishes to the late Eddie Money, born this day, March 21, 1949. I saw him in 1997; he put on a great show, and played a really mean saxophone.

This is the 45 version of Two Tickets to Paradise; it's shorter than the album version, but there are also a number of differences between the two. The guitars are punched up more in the single version and there are differences in the vocals. Purists who tend to prefer the album version may not like it but it's worth a listen.

I just saw some ass-hat down the street open up his drag car down this quiet residential street. Luckily, no one was hurt. But as life long hot-rodder, that kind of thing really makes me upset because it could so easily have gone really bad. Especially as fast as his car is.

So... I need some killer tunes to get my mind right again. Enter Big Head Todd....
