Wow… 30 years ago I was in a garage band (basement studio) and we did this song…Bad Case Of Loving You (Doctor, Doctor) - 1979
Song by Robert Palmer
When you posted in the other thread, it reminded me of this song..Wow… 30 years ago I was in a garage band (basement studio) and we did this song…
I love those people… I sometimes wonder where they are today.![]()
I didn’t know that. What a bummer he passed away so young.Robert Palmer died September 26, 2003 in Paris, France age 54

Not gonna lie, I was kind of offended by his video with the trollops (might as well face it, you’re a dickhead in love)… but Shania Twain make it okay, but having a bunch of bimboy eye candy in her video.
None of those tarts, make or female had a clue how to play those instruments (which is why I was so offended)![]()
why stop at the first track! it was all goodI was going to do a posting in the "your mood in a meme" or "your mood in one word"... and I realized, my mood can always be best described in music.
And right now... I'm ready to break on through to the other side.![]()

The Doors - Break on Through (To the Other Side)
I agree! I love most of The Doors tunes… just a few that I don’t like (like “The End”).why stop at the first track! it was all good
Interesting......"The End" is a very dark tune, and of course this was the track that got them fired from playing The Whiskey a GoGO forever more.......but I don't mind that trackI agree! I love most of The Doors tunes… just a few that I don’t like (like “The End”).![]()
Yeah I can understand that!.....I play it once in a while when the mood strikes me! Some people are very "word oriented" when it comes to music, I have always been the other way for the most part, I get drawn into a song by its musical structure typicallyI didn’t mind it so much years ago, but after going through some dark times myself, I don’t care for any dark stuff now. I don’t need that around me.![]()
Me too… I tend to be more music oriented. But, after paying attention to the words… they stick with me.Yeah I can understand that!.....I play it once in a while when the mood strikes me! I went back the other day and was playing Journey Frontiers....."Edge of Blade".......those words were by no means happy that is for sure......."your caught up in the power-a blue magical maze-and the circle is broken in a spell binding rage"......a lot in that lyricMe too… I tend to be more music oriented. But, after paying attention to the words… they stick with me.![]()
