Old Story I can't find, Need help

Looking for a story, I don't remember much about it. It was romance but I'm not sure. The scene I remember is the main character guy is dressed in war reenactment clothes along with an older gentleman and his restoration club. He helped restore a vintage war motorcycle with side car and they rode in a parade. After the parade he goes to get drinks for himself, the older gentleman, the love interest, and the older gentleman's wife. Then ends up in a fight with another gentleman and the bodyguard from the parade.
