On the Hunt (closed)

"What are you waiting for Vampire?"

his grin stayed on his face. As her eyes made contact, his pupils darkening, his power flowed them as he called to her his hands remain raised up at his sides, as if offering his hands to he crowds around them, his voice was a soft, almost velvet like as he chuckled, a soothing seductive tone

"come now slayer, i can hear your heart, i can hear the beating of your blood in your veins, surely one of such a great bloodline is not ......scared?"

he smiled and then in a blink he was gone, having clouded her mind with his gaze alone he stood behind her, arms crossed at his chest,

"silly girl, you know not what you are fooling with, come, drop the sword and admit defeat, it is...as you humans say, better to serve, then to die?"

The move was totally unexpected in her tranced state. What was wrong with her?! This never happened before. Before she could kill a Vampire with no problem. Then again, when she was on the hunt, she didn't converse with any of the vampires. They were all weak...

All except this one. The only way he was different from her other kills was that he was stronger...older and down right smug.

And she let him get to her. She met him on his terms and that was her first big mistake.

With a move she thought was quick, she flipped her sword back to where he reappeared but there was nothing. He moved again. Not before pushing her. It took all she could to try to stay standing.

his deep melodious laughter taunted the girl, his vampire speed allowing him to easy avoid her sword, as she went to stab him he shoved her and moved again, dancing around her teasingly.

"come now girl, your faster then this, or is the slayer bloodline growing old and slow?"

he taunted her again, standing before her, his suitjacket removed as well as his tie, arms crossed against his chest he smiled at her as he leaned against a railing, his head canted to oneside as he watched her tsking softly.

"you need more training girl"

he held out his hand and one of the people from the crowd launched a sword at him, he caught the hilt and twirled the blade deftly then rested the tip of the blade on the ground in a low guard position his eyes stayed on the girl before him

Vitarios Sword

"come girl, " he gave her a fighters salute his sword swishing up then down to his side as he stood ready

He was getting to her damnit!!

"Stop your games Vampire! Fight like a true vampire! Or are you scared?!"

It was a risk but she was she hit a nerve but she couldn't tell. The roar of the crowd reacting to her taunts, but not in a serious matter. She brandished her sword toward him, "Let's go Vampire. Or are games you're only way to get out of a fight?!"

Rya knew her words were dangerous but with the vibe in the room, she didn't care. Her thoughts were clouded and her actions were sloppy. Why did she let him get to her so?

Before he could reply she charged at him, praying to God she would wound him in way she could so she could say she was the first to draw first blood!

"Stop your games Vampire! Fight like a true vampire! Or are you scared?!"

he smirked softly as he stood before her. sword off to the ready, his head canted slightly to one side as he watched how frustrated the girl was getting. Fight like a true vampire? He shook his head at the comment, clearly this girl had been lied to throughout her life as to how we are "suppose" to fight. Pity... he didnt peg her as that ignorant

Let's go Vampire. Or are games you're only way to get out of a fight?!

"clearly girl you have no idea how a vampire fights, if by your words then by the fact you yourself are fighting a loosing battle. I am fighting as a Vampire Fights, im just giving you the Honor of not handing your ass to you on a silver platter first."

With those words spoke the girl charged him. Vitario was ready however, his inhuman speed allowing his sword to raise, parrying the girls blow aside he spun the blade in his hand and grab the girls wrist. wrenching it to a painful angle he made her Drop her weapon. Another blink of an eye his knee came up. Catching her in the gut. Vitarios eyes glowed as his powers flowed free.

"Stupid girl, and poorly trained" he hissed, spinning as the hunter doubled over from his knee he brought his elbow down across the back of her head with a vicious blow to the back of her skull intending to incapacitate her and render her unconscious

"i Win" he grinned as he watched her

The fight didn't last too long. For some reason, Rya couldn't concentrate nor could she fight the way she was taught. Her mind was too open and thus, too clouded. She had heard of this sort of thing happening to other hunters.

Sudden she knew the game was over when the Vampire moved behind her and then there was pain, both physical and mental....

"i Win"

That was the last thing Rya heard before all went black. The crowd surrounding them only cheered in one big roar! There were pleas for the Vampire to take the Hunter now, in front of the crowd! Give them a show!

None of this Rya knew, her body was limp on the floor in her unconscious state....

as the slayer dropped to the floor Vitario inhaled then exhaled, letting his body relax he listened to the cheers and screams of the crowd. Closing his eyes he felt his eyes return to normal and his powers fade away. ignorning the crowd he grabbed the slayer and hefted her over his shoulder. With a collective groan the crowd only assumed he would take her away and went back to doing their own thing.

Vitario carried the girl into his private office and laid her out on his sofa. His eyes scanned her body and he gently lifted her wrist. He had broken it when he disarmed her and he frowned some. Closing his eyes his powers flowed. He held her wrist and placed another hand gently on her Forehead. Reaching out into her body he healed her wrist and the damage he inflicted to her neck.

"your mine now girl, be happy i see fit to heal you" he said quietly. Opening his mind he shared his energy with her. When she woke she would feel the meta-physical mark. She would feel his thoughts she would be stronger, faster. The bond between Vampire and servant had alot of bonuses. As he would mark her more she would gain in power. but so would he.

with a sigh he laid her wrist down and got up, returning to his desk he sat down and kicked his feet up. picking up a stack of bills he went back to doing his normal routine letting the girl sleep

Legend had it that if a Vampire and a Hunter were bonded, the Vampire would become more powerful. He'd be able to successfully 'create' more Vampires that were faster, tougher to kill.

But of course, like all legends, this one had one misconception. It was true to a point....the Hunter had to be willing and weak minded.

And weak minded was one thing Rya was not. She was sure she'd never be one of those that were willing...that was until now.

In her dream state, her mind was a battlefield of thoughts. Some good, some bad. She found herself standing at the edge of a cliff over looking the ocean in the dark of night. The wind blowing, the waves crashing into the rocks down below. She was going to jump and as she took a small step closer to the edge, she felt someone grab her arm. Whipping her head to the hand, her gaze slowly travelled up from the hand, the arm and to the face...the face of Vitario...

With a scream, she tried to jerk her arm away only to end up with him letting go and letting her fall.....

It was then Rya woke with a start! She was gasping for air, the back of her neck hurt and it took a while for her eyes to adjust to the dim light.

He looked up from his laptop, a small smile curved on his lips, closing the computer he sat back, letting the chair creak slightly under his weight he steeped his fingers together and looked to the girl.

"your awake, welcome back"

his voice was soft, almost caring in its tone as he spoke to her, his eyes watched her, as she slowly sat up his hand outstretched to point to a coffee cup on the end of the desk nearest her

"care for something to drink? youve been asleep for a few hours, i feared i had done more damage to you then i had wanted too young huntress, "

his hand rested once more on the arm of his chair, eyes never leaving her he opened that Meta-physical mark between them, reaching into her thoughts, he wanted to know what she was thinking, feeling, he had caught a glimpse of her dream and it had made him curious that her mind would conjure such images

Rya could feel the thudding from the bass of the music coming from downstairs...or was it upstairs? She couldn't tell. The room was still spinning slightly as she sat up carefully. When the Vampire spoke, his voice was almost soothing...

Shaking her head from the reverie, Rya stood up suddenly, her balance a little off but she was standing nonetheless. The feel of her mind was suddenly overtaken by....a feeling of deja vu, that was the only way she could describe it. Almost a possessive feeling.

With a move she thought was quick, Rya made a dash for the door only to be stopped by the Vitario with his own quick move, he stood in front of the door blocking her. His hands on her shoulders, pushing her back toward the couch. She still chose not to say anything!

Not fighting him, Rya felt herself being pushed down to sit. Usually she would've fought to not have been moved around like this but something...something made her do as she was being 'told'.

He watched the slayer, the confusion, the disorientation of her whereabouts, it wasn’t uncommon, considering the blow he had given her to the back of the head, a lesser human would have died from the concussive force alone. The fact she was strong enough to withstand that attack, well, he healed her of course, she would have been in a coma unless he didn’t. Either way when she made a bolt for the door he had caught the thought from her mind easily and in the blink and burst of vampire speed he made the door before her. Catching her by the shoulders he whispered softly to her “shhhhhhhh” gently he pushed her back and sat her on the couch.

“I can feel your confusion little girl, you need to relax and let your mind process your thoughts, and allow time for your body to heal. Close your eyes Rya.”

He passed his hand over her face, watching her eyes flutter shut at his soothing command. He smiled kneeling before her, his eyes were glowing, black with power, as he reached out with his mind to hers, touched her mind like he would touch with his hand

“relax, breath, let your mind open, and absorb my knowledge” he coo’d gently to her, his memorys, his past, his powers, he let her feel it, absorb it, and in doing soo her own body strengthed, she could feel a sudden rippling through her body of heat, her senses suddenly sharper, more acute and aware. Vitario pulled away and rose to stand

“welcome to your new life my servant,”

He turned and walked back to his desk

It felt like Rya was back in the club again...there were so many thoughts and invasions that she couldn't get a handle on it all! She felt all of Vitario's past thoughts and actions, she saw him killing for food and killing for protection.

Over 300 plus years of killing and hunting.... She wanted to fight back but couldn't. It was suffocating and dare she say, scary? Like the life she once knew was being sucked out of her....

“welcome to your new life my servant,”

Rya let out an ear piercing scream!!! Her mind and body was a swirl of thoughts and feelings that were all new to her! She wanted to get out of here, but new she couldn't... Yet, as soon as it all started, her mind when seemingly calm, her breathing returned to normal...well, as normal as it was for her.

Her eyes shot open and they immediately locked with Vitario's own eyes. The way he held her to him was like a gift, a gift of being wanted and needed. Rya had this urge to give him something...

She fell to her knees in front of him, "Master..." she said in a hushed whisper.

When she screamed he plugged an ear, not too fond of loud noises inside confined rooms he just gave her an annoyed look. He watched the war on her face, the way her body spazmed as she laid on the floor of his office. Leaning back he crossed his arms over his chest and smiled, watching a sudden calm wash over her. As he eased the turmoil of her mind. Getting up he moved to her, taking her in his arms and held her, smiling gently, he let her go and took a step back. Just as he was about to say something she fell to her knees, her head bowed he thought at first she would break down again, the move had been so listless and fluid.

"Master..."

He blinked, a smile across his face moving he sat back down a self satisfied smile. A gesture of his hand to the chair across from him his voice was cool, soft, “come, sit, there is no need to kneel, you are my servant not my slave, “ reaching into his desk he pulled out a stack of papers and set them on his desk, “would you like something to drink? I would almost think Rya that you would be thirsty after this night”

He looked up from the paperwork he was signing awaiting her answer

There was no answer from the Hunter.

In fact, Rya was quite busy taking in her new surroundings. She stepped away from Vitario and started to inspect the room, the office. The thudding from the music downstairs seemed to die down as the night was dying down.

Shedding her leather jacket, Rya's top was nearly see thru but that didn't seem to phase her as she found herself in front of Vitario.

"I want something more than a drink." She told him, her eyes boring into his.
