On Writing threads, collated

Just an idea, how about a thread about authorial analysis / introspection, linked to the excellent WIWAW concept.

OP updated with the latest threads.

Suggestions for more topics are always welcome. And nobody says you have to wait for anyone else to start the thread.

This could be an interesting one. Granted, it's a big chunk of what we talk about here, but... sex? I mean, I know people around here might not have a lot of opinions on writing sex scenes, but you never know, we might get a couple takers.

We've already had threads about describing body parts and things like vocalisations and orgasms. Perhaps "sex" is too broad a topic - or so broad that it only gets vague replies? I suspect people will either address countless specific aspects, or else be very general.

Maybe we could set up a series of "On Writing Erotica" threads that address those specific aspects. We could add the previous ones as well.

And On writing: how it all ends has been added to the OP.

For the next topic, maybe in a few weeks time, I was thinking perhaps "action scenes". But if anyone has any other suggestions, feel free to add them here, or start your own thread.

How it begins...

Ooooo....

*vague philosophical jingly noises and glitter*
I was thinking of starting threads on beginnings and middles. I've started threads in the past about things like drawing the reader in and in medias res. But those were a while ago.
