I don't know about America but in the UK there are openly gay and female bishops.

Women don't have to sit separately to men in churches and enter through different entrances as is the case in Mosques; usually the women enter Mosques through some side entrance while the men enter through the front main entrance.

Be careful what you wish for.

Many of them will. They are not all strict Muslims, like many Jews in the US are not strictly orthodox. The Muslims came to the US to live better.

Atheism? They would probably ignore and class with other 'non-believers'. Why should that bother them? Vegetarian? Probably not. Halal. probably yes, and they can find halal meat in Walmart. Gender equality? Possibly yes for most of them. Gender fluidity? Like many American Christians, they might find that difficult.

But the variety of Muslim practices and beliefs is as wide as that among Christians. Strict Baptists and mainstream Roman Catholics might be as worried by some aspects of a 'woke' culture as some Muslims.

They are NOt a homogenous group with shared beliefs. That can be seen in the Middle East where they kill each other over differences most of us don't understand. Shia, Sunni? They hate each other.

Many of the "Black and Brown people" are more socially conservative than many white Americans, and church (or mosque) going where their conservativism is supported.

There is no such game. Black and brown people are coming to America for economic reasons, not because they hope to change anything here; they differ from earlier waves of immigration only because the explicitly racist quota system was abolished in 1965. And once here, they will assimilate, even if they keep some vestige of their old faith. The Jews did.

It might take longer because of the numbers involved. In the UK, previous generations of immigrants took a decade or so. Because some Muslims are so concentrated in particular cities or areas, the process could take longer - decades perhaps. But as more of their children are born in the UK and go to British schools, they are gradually becoming more integrated. It isn't happening fast enough. It could be the grandchildren's generation that sees themselves as more British than their grandparents, even if they still support India or Pakistan's cricket teams. When the majority of Muslim immigrants speak English at home? That would be the turning point.

Muslims in the US (and UK) need help to assimilate, not needless fear and hatred for attitudes they don't have.
