Kali was finishing her degree in sports medicine and working full time to cover the costs incurred. To say she didnt have time was an understatement. Kali scrolled thru her potential matches.. some were an instant no, others looked like might have been too good to be real... she narrowed it down to a few and sent messages to each, what the heck right?

Kali got home from a long day of work and poured herself a glass of wine and logged into the site. More messages asking her highly innapropriate questions... then there was one response from Jake.

She smiled as she read it and quickly replied,

Jake, well it makes me a little more at ease to hear you dont know what youre doing on here either. I am not sure what I am supposed to talk about...m I mean, I read the basics about you on your profile....

Well it would be nice to have a friend when I get AZ. I must be honest I've never really explored much of the state. I think I've spent more time in Havasu than I have in any other city. (I'm glad those days are behind me now though).

Ok. First let me say I have never done this before and never thought I would. But what the hell right? I am Joey. I am 29 and it seems we have quite a bit in common. I am the superintendent of a golf course in Tempe and as you know the people out here love their golf which keeps me in love with my job. I guess you could say. She laughed at his playful message. She entered his number into her ohone and sent him a quick text,

Joey had just finished lunch and was back to watering greens when he heard his phone go off. Reaching in his pocket he saw the text from a number he didn't recognize but whe reading it his heart jumped a little. Quickly Joey turned the hose off and text her back.

"Well hello there! Wow! You are a quick one. I like it! If I could get some of my employees to react as fast as you life would be easy! Lol. How are you? It is so good to hear from you! Are you working today? Wow! Look at me already rambling it is only my first text."

She texted back, "Currently I am sitting at my desk with three text books and a stack,of papers so tall I cant see around them... so any distraction is a welcome one! And I like the rambling, its cute.

"Well currently I am holding a hose watering the 11th green in the middle of the summer sun! So I think you have the better deal! Lol." Joey couldn't believe it but he had butterflies. "Well what is it exactly you do to have text books and papers in front of you and needing distractions?"

"Wow! A personal trainer? Well you can work me out anytime! Lol." Cory pressed send then got nervous sending another text right behind it. "I am sorry was that to much. I am so nervous talking to you I am like a damn school boy with his firs crush!" He pressed send and went back to work however not much was getting done

"Ok so I know this may be to soon. But what do you say you drop what you are doing put on some sun screen and come ride around with me and water some greens? I mean you can't spend your whole life buried in books and the gym. I think you need some fresh air!!"

She looked at the books and papers, then back at her phone... battling internally.... was it too soon? She realized that she really wanted to go.....

"Ok ok, youve convinced me. I will take a break to come out and play."

With the she got up and went to change into a pair of shorts and a fitted polo shirt. Was she really doing this?

When she arrived at the clubhouse the nerves were getting the best of her... her hands were clammy and her heart was pounding. She glanced around as she walked in a little further..

Joey was sitting under a shade tree of number 18 when he saw her walking up. Quickly he put the gas down on the cart aNd pulled up to her. "Hello mam." He said nervously. "Need a lift?" Asking playfully he extended his hand to her. "I am Joey it's nice to meet you and see that you are just as pretty in real life as you are your picture!" Joey scooted over for her to sit with his hand still extended.
