We need some wealth inequality to encourage people to work harder. The degree of wealth inequality we have now is dysfunctional.If we assume the threat of nuclear war is past, knock plutonium, only three existential threats to civilization remain:

Human population growth is a problem. More people mean there us less of everything good to go around.

Which sounds great, getting machines to do all the work, until you realize you'll still be living in a society where you can't get by without a money income.i think in non political terms it means robots and androids taking over the work force like in most sci fi tv shows and movies
