OOC: Another Superhero League thread?

Alia Sidhe

My character will be Alia Sidhe. It is a female character, so if anyone is uncomfortable with rp-ing certain things with a female character run by a male, be warned! She will be played as absolutely in-character as possible, and will react appropriately to certain situations.

Alia Sidhe is from the land of Tir na Nog. She is an outcast from the Tuatha de Danaan (The people of the Godess Dana, i.e. Celtic elves). She was outcast for making an unholy deal with Morrigan, goddess of war, and Arawn, god of the dead. Basically, she cannot be killed, as Arawn will no longer accept her soul. Eventually, even the smallest particle of her would regenerate back to life. Her primary powers are magical in nature, part of her essence: she can grow bat-wings to fly, disguise herself with illusion, is Spiderman-class strong and agile, and can extend her fingernails at will as claws. Fire amuses her, as does cold. Technology fascinates her, but she is really unfamiliar with it.
She is vampiric in nature, in that she feeds on the souls of those she slays (gaining some of their knowledge in the process), but only after they experience prolonged fear. While she does not share the classic vampiric weakness to sunlight, she does prefer the dark. Holy things weaken her, and she may not enter sanctified areas. Garlic is one of her favorite spices, and silver looks really nice on her.
In natural appearance, she is a small (5') redhead, with almond-shaped green eyes, and slightly pointed ears. She is slight of build, not seeming very muscular at all. While she is exerting any of her power(except for illusion), her eyes glow red.
She has a wicked sense of humor, and will happily humiliate opponents, so long as she has recently fed. If she's hungry, people will die.
Having just arrived in the mortal realm, she is on unfamiliar ground, and knows no one. As yet, she has no 'supervillainess' name. Perhaps someone in the press will give her one. If she likes it, that reporter might even live.

Powers: From Weapon X, i have flash backs, but i can control them, but not at all times...a heavy drinker, but dosn't get drunk or have hang overs do to the fact of fast healing. 4 claws come out from my knuckles, and i have adimentium steal bones like wolverine, but all my sinces are higher than his, along with having stuck through the whole thing, i have knoledge on almost any way to kill people, and in martial arts. Is a deadly assassin, carries with him 2 gold plated magnums. loves to kill, has a short temper, muscular and very strong.
Apperance: 6'2", brown hair and eyes, hair is short and spiked. Muscular even though that isn't where the strength comes from that. Rough features, one reason is due to the fact that he dosn't shave that often and has rough stubs along his face.

Wind Song: 5'2", long blonde hair, grey eyes. Her power is in controlling wind & fog, she has some empathic powers in that she senses things, rather than seeing the future. She was a part of the original threads, but grew restless & went off on her own to develop her empathic powers. I am working on where she has been, but this gives you an idea of who she is.

195lbs

He has the ability to literally vanish. He can turn practically invisible and not be seen whatsoever but the only down side is that it takes a lot of energy to control it and he can only stay invisible for an hour or two at the most. His background is that when his mother was pregnant with him she was a research chemist designing a serum to make the same thing happen for soldiers but there was a lab accident and she was doused with the serum. It had no affect on her but unknown to her it bonded with her unborn son's DNA. He first found out about it when he was a child and it happened by accident. He got so scared that he told his mother and she told him what had happened. Several years after that he witnessed a crime and stopped it by using his ability. He decided that he needed to do something to stop the crime that he saw and became a hero. The only down side is the the government has learned of him and is after him: to learn why he can use his ability and their experiments have not worked.

Oh, I forgot to mention it.... I am writing a thread as like my characters first major adventure and was wondering if anyone would like to join in.

Introducing a new/old character plus a history lesson in tying threads together

Appearance: A 6-1 224lbs African American man. Very cut very well put together. Short shaven black hair with a black goatee and black eyes. Yup no irises no pupils just darkness unless he powers up. Looks like he is about 24 years old.

History: A former warrior cyborg. He was one of the most dangerous field agents during the earlier war in the future until he was virtually destroyed. His parts were accidentally sent back to the past by the future Justice League. However they were intercepted by Cell and his henchman the Wall/Gary Coleman.  While the cyborgs abilities were immense it needed to be fused with another being of equal power.   

That being fell into their hands as JayDen was kidnapped after a debacle involving Superman and a woman tossing out of speeding car.  Once he was captured the beaten and bloody JayDen was forced to become the host for the cyborg reconstruction however what Cell did not know was JayDen powers were still manifesting and evolving so once the cyborg and JayDen were one the man snapped, overloaded and blew up the complex killing most of the people inside. As a result JayDen power evolved from energy draining into bio energy to small scale reality warping abilties. The downside is he has limited control over his powers, thus making him more reliant on guns and weopons of that sort.

LAVA.

(ren, my char can be GOOD OR BAD...you can decide. I don't mind either. Though being bad would be ooohhhh sooo good. However, with some of the chars, (well one or two) I feel sort of...lacking in powers, You can't beat em...or kill em. So I guess my char is weak.)

CODE NAME: LAVA
NAME: GAIA, 19 years old, 5'11" 140 lbs, limber,taut and amazon woman in quality. Bright flaming red hair, Eyes to match her hair, Skin looks as if darkly tanned.

POWERS: Can morph into lava form, while retaining the physical features of herself. ( Basically Gaia, only made of Lava). SHe can morph into anything while in Lava form. SHe can morph things into lava and can radiat levels of heat according to her location to a volcano or underground volcanoes. Faints after returning to human form. Kickboxing and Light telekenesis is known to her (she needs to open doors and hover off the ground so she doesn't melt through everything).

COSTUME: SImple Red Leather Cat-suit, Cut in the right places. Tall black thigh High boots. Glowing piece of lava floats as if a necklace...

What would any Superhero League be like without everyone's favorite moody elf? lol.

Name: Armist, the Elven King
Stats: 6'2, 190, slim, long blonde hair, piercing blue eyes

Powers: Same as any elf of Tolkien lore...with some additions. Expert at war(see weapons below) as well as tracking. Heighten senses, speed, agility, and strength. Can blend into the shadows at will. Master elven sorceror as well.

Weapons: Bow and arrow and sword(Orc Killer) are his favs.

Origin: Don't worry about it, it'll come out along with his down moods. lol

Hi Lava, Wind Song doesn't have real intense powers, that is why she is empathic instead of telepathic. Her shape shifting is kind of like how your lava works, hopefully we can kick some serious ass anyway. Wind Song's outfit is all black, catsuit & cape, silver jewelry.

Poohlive is in this from as far as I can tell. I'm pretty sure but not certain that he'll be Superbman/S-Man from the first thread.

And I understand what you're saying about some of the new characters powers. Having the characters be to powerful can take some of the fun out of it for others, but I'm just gonna let it go unless it gets bad for others later down the line. I think the current roster can work well together if given time.

I'm playing three people, Lava. Bringing back Renegade(everybody loves the little man whore lol), Kronos(the main bad guy that will be even more evil then usual in this thread), and a third character that will be kinda inbetween but more towards the hero for the most part.

Will start the thread soon. Probably late this week. My first post that starts it might be pretty big though. Gonna need to cover alot of things in it to set the scene right for everyone.

The thread is still on and I'm sorry that it has taken longer then I planned to start it. A sudden medical problem of my own caused me to have to hold back on starting the new thread. Plus, I wanted to get settled into two threads that I had promised to be apart of awhile back before getting into any other ones. Again, I'm sorry about it taking longer, but the thread will get started soon. And if not... you can all kick my ass!

Let the games begin!!!!

I look out into the glowing city shrowded in nightfall. My eyes get a little teary as I think of how long it has been.I choke down on the lump in my throat and jump off the rooftop from where I am standingI freefall and my new Black and Red cape spawls out in the wind. I pull my grapling hook from my belt and fire it to the Titan city plaza. I seemingly fly to the top guided my my rope. Perched on the tall pointed building only holding on to the Giant silver spike that tops the building. When in a heartbeat a nearby building explodes into a tower of flames. IT'S GO TIME!!!! I take a flying leap and soar through the air landing on the roof of a local bulding.I am now feet away from the structure immersed in flame. Judging from the explosion the explosives where set to the frame. The people inside are still alive, but for how long?!?!? I pull an impact grenade from my belt and throw it at one of the windows. The small explsion smothers quite a bit of the flame in the area I need to enter through. I jump from the building and break through the glass and flame. I walk through the hallways that are beginning to spark and cinder. I kick in a door and notice two young women clinging to eachother as the walls begin to close in. "hold on"I say as I kick out the window. I lower the through the fire escape. I CAN'T GET ALL OF THESE PEOPLE OUT BY MYSELF I SCREAM. as I say that I notice a familiar caped figure flying through the night sky. The giant red cape, the muscular frame. S-man has arrived. Then looking out onto the fire escapes, I see more familiar faces. Renegade, and Armist. I also notice various other unknown figures surrounding the area. The SUPERHERO LEAGUE HAS RETURNED!!

The Twins

These are my bad girls...

Adena and Armina-telepaths and psychic powers.
They are identical twins. Long brown hair streaked with blonde, golden eyes, good features and slim. Usually dress in tight jumpsuits for better movement.

Very gymnastically talented. They specialize in mental telepathy and are in almost constant contact with each other. Their psychic powers include moving objects or people, causing things to happen by visualization, controlling those unaware or willing and they are still experimenting with their powers so the list will get longer the more experienced they are.

Here are their weaknesses (any super heroes about?) they are prone to be too linked to each other sometimes causing one to feel the others pain or pleasure. The use of psychic powers is tiring and so they are not limitless in their powers. They have also been known to syphon off others psychic energies but the energy that is taken from an unwilling participant is often chaotic so it is hard to control and can even backlash. They can gain limited control over a person's mind as long as that person is either willing or unaware of what is happening.

These characters will develop as the thread goes on but that is what I have so far.

Well it should be a mixture of comedy and seriousness. What I didn't like about the last one(which was still good)was that it got TOO serious towards the end. I guess there realy isn't a guidline for this being one way or another. Probably be best that it be serious but with comedic overtones here and there. Either way is fine with me. Just as long as it's fun for all involved.
