OOC: Casting Call; Resident Evil (New)

The trenchcoat Tyrant from RE 2 is called Mr. X or T-103.

Nemesis is also Tyrant Class but is thought to be a prototype of the Mr. X series......I guess.

*swipes the sign up sheet & clipboard for this thread and patiently tries forging ty's name to it*

that was it! Mr. X

that was one big bastard

but i ment as far as the ranks of the undead, having EVERYONE zombies would be a bit of a drag. so, what else could i throw in there?

Well, as for zombies, I figured, you could throw them in wherever you saw fit, and we could add them if we wanted to add some spice somewhere...Mr. X, of course, is all yours, and the Ravens could be like the zombies, unless you want to restrict them to yourself as well. Not to mention the hounds (can't remember the technical name). The Lickers would be all you as well, being less common than the Ravens, Hounds, and Zombies.
What else was there? The second type of zombies that were underground in the first one...maybe the plant from the first one as well (can't remember the name), the sharks, all those are yours alone...the giant spiders are fairly common, we can all share that...
Basically, you should decide where anything is, but some of the basics, given their lack of importance, we should be universal in the usage of.
Any better?

right the speder and plants and sharks....

i agree that lower class monsters, you can even create them out of thin air yourself, i don't mind.

what about i just throw whatever i feel like in there? wether it's been used as a monster or not?

With the zombies you could adopt Capcom's new way of dealing with them.

When a zombie gets put down in the RE remake they don't die. They mutate and later get back up as super killing machines sporting claws and super human speed. They are called "Crimson Heads" because of their reddish skin color. And after their transformation they can take a hell of a lot more punishment before falling again.

Use Hunters too. they are the worst things on 2 legs since the Tyrannosaurus Rex.

They are fast and agile, they can leap long distances, their claws and teeth can tear people to ribbons, their death strike of ripping your head off with their powerful arms.

They are deadly.
The 3 types are:

Alpha : The ones from RE 1
Beta : The Mutated ones from RE3
Gamma : The frog like ones from RE3
Sweepers : These are Alphas that can poison you from RE:CV
Hunters & Seekers : Little devices called Seekers pinpoint targets for Hunters to attack - like the movie "The Watchers" where a monster and a dog were going to be used militarily....the monster kills all people who come into contact with the dog.

Use some of the animals too.

Yawn : the giant snake from RE1
The giant alligator from RE2
The giant moth from RE2 or the poison moths from RE CV use many of them.
The giant roaches from RE2
The giant worms from RE3
The giant spiders

Some new animals

heh heh heh the aligator.... damn that was funny. suck O2 tanks! BOOM *laughs* how stupid could they have made that?

here's a copy of Ray from the first one

Profile:

Name: Ray Daniels
Gender: Male
Age: 27

Physical Description: Ray is 5-11, about 180 lbs. He's slightly muscular, and wears jeans and a black T-shirt, both usually covered by a long brown trench. His hair is cut short, light brown, often covered by a black bandana. His eyes are brown. His only distinguishing marks are scars, mostly small ones, but a few large ones. He keeps them well-covered, and is very self-conscious about them.

Bio: Ray is in Desperation in search of his sister, who's been missing for three months. He's a bounty hunter, not a hitman...a bounty hunter. He's just arriving in Desperation as things are getting the best of the town.

I'm planing on using the same character, if no one minds. How do you think we should start this one? Make it in Desperation again? That would be my choice. That way, we're already in the middle of it, and that'll leave room for the others from that thread to come back with their old characters.
We can set it up so that the character from the first one were separated, and haven't found each other again, and have whoever is new coming into town or whatever. The town was located out in the middle of nowhere, where this type thing could go unnoticed (so far as suspension of disbelief is concerned, that is) and the "virus" has been active for some time, months even, to the point where survivors are locked in and scared like in RE3. The creatures have overtaken the city, and the people hide out in ares that they've managed to keep safe. What do you guys think?

heres my char *smirks*

Name: Game Master
Sex: i have a sex?
Age: i have an age?
Desc: i'm that shadow you think it watching you. those feelings that prickle up the hair at the back of your neck. the puppet master controlling all the weird things in the game. when you're papanoid, it's because i'm watching you!

And off go the brave and foolhardy characters, to be eaten alive by Khadgar the DM. lol. Time to rock and roll.

Ok I want in on this. Started reading whats been posted and Id like to throw a character in the mix.

NAME: Yon Cullpepper
Gender: Male
AGE 27
HEIGHT: 6-2
WEIGHT: 210
EYES: Blue
HAIR: Dirty Blond

BIO: Yon is Sweedish born, but imagrated to the states 4 years ealier to pursue his life long dream of becoming an Elvis impersonator. Before following his dream, Yon spent 5 years in the Sweedish army. During witch time he was trained as a Electronic technician. He latter trained in the counter terrorist unit, but failed the final tests, due to the fact of his lack of intrest. Upon being discharged, Yon moved to the states to pursue his dream. Yon stoped into this mid size town to put on a show, but now finds himself stuck in the middle of a nightmare, haveing to fall back on his military skills to survive.

Well I hope thats a new twist to the story. I plan to have fun with this guy. A man with a Swedish Accent talking like Elvis, running around with an Elvis Costume on. But dont be fooled, he'll be dish out cases of whoop ass in his blue suede shoes.

So far so good, this thread seems to be starting off well. So what is the ruling as far as ways to kill the zombies. I have played the games and it takes a lot of shots, or blowing off their heads, same rules apply? Just wondering.

Khadgar gets the final say now, but in the games, you just had to do so much damage and the bodies gave out, so to speak. Five shots with a pistol I think, or four. Two witha shogun. The shots to the head thing will work too, George Romero style.

Excellent, I am glad I grabbed a shotgun then. lol.

Speaking of Khadgar, where is our devious DM?

That is cool QC that you heard the car explode. I was hoping that someone would hear it and come running. This would be boring if we just kept single posting and did not actually start doing anything. Sounds familiar right now doesn't that? LOL
