Info:

The Lurking Wood
A large wooded area that fronts the foothills of the Death Watch Mts. in the land of Blackmarch. It is rumored to be filled with strange creatures made from the magics released by the elves and dwarves during the Great War. At the heart of the forest lies a large crater where some of the best Dwarven and Elven magic users squared off in combat in the middle of a pitched battle. The magics released at that time led to the leveling of the land for miles around, and only the Lurking Wood is mute testament to the now bygone days of this battle.

It is said that the Ogre's were made from the magic released in that battle, but so far no one has proven that. Other things that are rumored to lie in the Wood are the undead left from the battle, who roam the land looking for living people to feed their undead desire for revenge on the living. The Wood is considered the first of the trials to reach the Dwarven home of Rockholm..

Nice plot twist with the 'traitor' idea gaston. It brings in some of the distrust I had expected in the group. It makes sense that I would be suspect. I am, after all....... an elf .

Hey my character is a little paranoid that's all, you can't trust bounty hunters and elves.

He'll be doing that circular logic about elves for hours.
Elves are cunning-->Ambush wasn't cunning-->However, the elf knows that elves are cunning-->Thus make ambush not cunning-->However, elf may think that he would know that I would see through his aura of a not cunning ambush--> and so on.

Hey Bobo don't worry, if you can join up later, they'll be plenty of spaces open.

Next thing is, if people want in, we're heading into a place where you can make a move to join the group and be part of the action. Right now, I'm speeding up the travel a bit, until we reach the Lurking Wood itself.

Let me know if you guys want anything incorporated or changed anytime or if you have some good ideas.....

Just one thing

It would make sense that leaf, as a pure-blood Elf, and mystic, would know about the Lurking Wood. So, I'm going to write that in if you don't mind. he won't talk to the other characters about it though, assuming that they would all know where they were heading.

As Darklord has come back to play Logan I expected he would answer your characters question. On top of which, it was probably my fault as I was the one controlling 'Logan' when he first mentioned needing to make up time. In hindsight, I should have just said that the group needed to hurry to make camp in a safe place as we didn't want another attack whilst we slept.

I like your character Gaston, you put a lot of work into it. I would hate to see him die. I think you should get wounded and then have to get treated. That way, you could catch up with us when you are back on line, we should still be going on then.

I'm with chewie, get wounded, head back to town, or we'll leave you at the next one we come across. Then later, when we're getting our asses kicked by some big baddie, you can ride in and save our tails like in the movies!
