I might've been cool with T'kai's death if the person who killed her off would have asked me to kill her first or if I had announce "I am leaving the thread, now." Please do not assume otherwise if neither one of these things are not mentioned about anyone's character.

I ask everyone not make assumptions as to why individuals leave. The may leave quietly or leave a post explaining why and if they want their character permanently written off. Only then shall you kill someone off.

Also, if your character is special and has REALLY special or is unusual in anyway please explain how in the OOC board. If your character belongs to a race or a species at the begining of the story, don't change them abruptly to something else without explaining the rational in the OOC story or if it is integral to the story:

e.g.

1- Your character is human and a vampire bites them and they change species. OK

2- Your character has magical powers and it was implied at the beginning. OK

3- Your character is the twin of a human and halfway through the story you turn to a mystical supernatural thing without warning or any background other that voila, here's a twist. EH?

4- Your character is gone for many posts, magically learns a secret only three other characters know. Even though you haven't interacted for a while with these character, you magically becomes a close ally of one of them and you know his secrets even thoughyou are both in separate ships because you want to be a hero. NOT COOL!

Due to personal and public reasons I only 3 more posts to make, so not leave Self hanging, before I finish.

I'm sorry for publicly blowing up. It was immature of me, but I felt I needed to set my foot down on this subject. I apologize if this upset any of you in a fundamental manner.

Everyone:

Lilu is retiring and T'kai is space dust, but there are many great characters still remaining. So it is not the end of the story if you don't want it to be. Ryans is still torn between being a contender for Captain of the Destiny and new King (who is facing a major Commonwealth split.) Xan has made a rather interesting change from brash voyeur punk to responsible and rather sensual adult who is developing leadership. Vin is a wonderfully written character with a lot of potential that has yet to be developed and destroyed and she is still Xan's student (which has the potential to cause a bit of dramatic and sexual tension and she still has that thing for captains, Ryans.) Ce'la is still seeking her missing children and is still Ryans main squeeze. The Kenetic Gawd is still on the loose. I am sure there are new characters waiting to replace the old ones and continue the Destiny's voyage. It is up to you guys to continue the story and make it awesome or end it on a good note. Right now, I need to tend to other things. Lilu might be back in the future if this thread continues, but that is an if and it is not the present situation. The biggest challege to this thread is to continue a good summary system which I hope someone will take over. This has been a fast-moving tale for the most part.

Thank you for creating this thread. It has not only providing me with a ton of reading and writing opportunities. I has also helped me develop new friendships and has given my hubby and I many fun ideas for our home. This has been a marvelous SRP campaign. I've tried my best to continue this in your absence and I really appreciate your support.

I really appreciated your PM and I am satisfied with your explanation of the situation with the person in question. Right now this is a fun escape, so I really don't want to deal with RL stupidity. The thread is not ruined for me, I'm just a little irritated with an individual. I just needed to clear the air and get the negative energy out of the way. Now I will replace it with positive energy. I might to another RIS or Space Pirates adventure in the future. Right now I'm very busy, so I am going to stick with my 3 last post promise. I was planning to take a break from this thread, but the aforementioned individual just solidified the decision for me. A cooling down period will be good for me.

Correct me if I'm wrong, but I thought that this was referring to Xan peeking into the action with Vin and Luke. He was storming in because he thought T'kai was being a threat. I thought the talk in private was because of the peepshow? Plus, the Captain was new and he could've been briefing him like he briefed everyone else. There was no conversation with Xan to back this up? Or was there... Self?

There was no mention of Xan's name here, and the way this is phrased, it made it unclear if this referred to Xan or another Cyborg. After all many of the Commonwealth soldiers were borgs. Also, no one brought up that ommission during the story summary and that's when it should have been brought up. Also I did not know Lucius Red head referred to Luke. I assumed this was the battleship.

This is why it is important to have clear writting to some extent and why it was important to give me feedback on the summaries.

Xan didn't trust T'kai, thats why he jolted off. Don't remember making a conversation with the captian because he was new. Some of the posts were sometimes confusing and unclear to me. i like clear writtings to read.

plus, know this is a little late, but I never did say Xan was a cyborg or wasn't, but once someone made that inference, I just went along with it.

Thanks for clearing it up...

Y'know... I really wasn't sure about Xan being a borg either, but I remember I was reading "The Cyborg Manifesto" on the web and I had just read "Burning Chrome" by William Gibson, so the whole prejudice against human/organic hybrids was fresh in my mind. Plus Lilu saw the world in terms of subs and doms at first so the slur "Switch" is a pun on the robotic parts, the hybridization and being neither slave nor master. Thanks for clarifying that. It's cool to find stuff like that out.
