OOC: D&D For All!!

go to the SRD and check up Sorcerer, you are now leve 3 so you get hp, skill points, a new feat if I am not incorrect and new spells.

Search the words SRD Sorcerer on google and you will get the homepages you need

no worries, just try to work out your posts, add some more texts and try to be more clear on your action and everything will be fine. Progress for perfection is slow, but steady, and I got patience. :)

Will Do Drakk my next post will be more heavily texts and i will try to type better

Skill points goes to your skills.

jump, climb, use rope, concentration ,spellcraft, and the likes. There's a lift of them on the sheet. Those marked are Cross Class skills ,which means you have to use 2 skill points instead of 1 to raise the rank of a crossclass skill. The skilsl that your class knows are written on the srd page beneath the level template.

Also when you first made your spell caster I forgot to mention you can get a familar. Sort of a magical pet you get a bonus from, but if it dies you loose 200 exp per level or 100 exp if you make a saving throw.

The familar bonus is +3 to a skill for the fallowing. Bat = listen, Cat = Move silently, hawk = spot (during the day only), Lizard = climb, owl = spot (only in darkness), Raven = appraise, snake = bluff and toad gives hp. Alternatly a weasel gives +2 to reflex saves while a rat gives +2 to fortitude saves.

The raven also can speak one human language of your choice. At level 3 the familar can deliver touch spells and grants you the alertness feat. Its intelligence would be 7 making it far smarter then the 3 most animals have for intelligence. And its AC is increased by 2. Further more it has all of your skills at the same level as you.

You can get a different familiar if you get a feat, do not remember the name though.

Improved familar it is in the DMG. Those familars are in general better, but they don't grant you a bonus to any of your skills.

Unfornetly at third level the only familars available to you threw this feat are Celestial hawk and fiendish viper. Unless Drakkwall wishes to expand the options to other creatures.

ok, level up information, hope its all fine, item familiar is one hell of a feat

Class: fighter
HP gained: 14
Feats chosen: item familiar (Giants blade), combat focus
Skills:
+1 intimidate (invested to giants blade)
+1 search (invested to giants blade)
+1 jump (invested to giants blade)
+1 search (3 skill points in to giants blade gives a +1 bonus)

item familiar is a feat from unearthed arcana, its when someone an item becomes such a part of a person that they invest part of themselves in to it, then it is much as its name suggests, a familiar. the stuff it can do is as follows.

+10%xp (if item lost or destroyed, bonus experience is lost, plus more depending on level)
invest skill points (every three invested gives a +1 to a chosen skill, if the weapon is lost, so are bonuses and invested skills)
you gain the benifits of the feat 'alertness' when in contact with the item
it can be enhanced as if the user had the prerequisite feats (all cost must be paid though)

and once you get to 7th level you get more cool stuff, like the weapon gaining sentience and whatnot

7th level you say? I will make note of this for my DnD group on Wednesday night. We are conviently 7th level and about to face to really hard fights. A gelatinous cube with extra hp and a mimic inside of it. Fallowed by a young adult black dragon with blind fight, and a young black dragon with a wand of deeper darkness and a wand of grease.

Way I see it after this week I have a 50: 50 shot of needing a new character.

Does any one mind me writing that post in 3rd person. When the twins are doing the same thing it seems easier. But the inconsitent writing style may annoy some people. I am sorry if it does, let me know and I will stop.

yeah, that doesnt sound like a walk in the park

I'll let you know how it goes. But so far our party has been surpisingly strong. Only three people have died and we are running The World's Largest Dungeon, which usaly has a high number of fatalities. But of those that have died they have all been self afflicted deaths so to speak. So the DM, TumbleUpstairs if you remember her, is actually hoping to thin the party this next area. And since the encounter says the dragon kills the strongest first, I am hoping one of the other strong characters get eaten instead of mine.

im sure you'll get through it fine, dragons arent that tough if you know how to deal with them, though i've never actualy gone against a gelantious cube before, so i dont know about that

Hehehehe well it depends on ho well you threatens him, should he be human or halfling?
