OOC: Fly Sparrow Crazy

Also the fact that no one quite knows what's going on. I mean, we had sixth sense visions of danger, talks of orcs coming down from mountains and this Praxis guy... which I still don't know if he's a good guy, a reluctant ally, or someone who's supposed to send us off on a quest.

So, the only reason I'm not having my gnoll attack him right now (because believe me, my gnoll wants to) is cause of that.

I agree Poohlive, that's why i sugested the artifacts being linked to the box, and that being the reason we all came together. Perhaps we could have a higher power that also knows about the box and the artifacts and wants to control the power, like in Lord of the Ring, where the all seeing eye wanted the ring back. What if Praxis is an agent of that higher force, but with his own agenda as well?

It would be cool if we could talk someone like Ravenlofe into playing Praxis. Give the char his own voice kinda thing?

damn ... some days you check 20 times and get nothing, other's you skip, and you miss out on a lot!

First, I appologize for the randomness of the game so far - I like to feed off of ideas from my friends/players, which is why so much of the story has been left open-ended (sometimes my ideas are actually quite crumy, so i just use yours *embarassed grin*)

I do like the idea of all the characters being drawn to the box, and each having an artifact that's needed to open it. (see what i mean? very cool idea) As far as OOC info goes, the box actually doesn't belong to Sparrow - she "retrieved" it for Praxis. As far as Praxis is concerned, if he is good, it's a dark sort of good. He's definitely a very dark sort of person, very manipulative and scary... Sparrow is mostly scared of him because of the dark persona and because she's seen him do magic now. (Sparrow does not like mages ... at all).
I do think it would be easy to turn Praxis into a being of Higher Power (whether good or bad), but I'm hesitant to do that. You see, if we start drawing deities or demi-deities into this *winces* I won't be able to stop the twins from joining in .... and I'm not sure if that's a good thing or a bad thing.

Anyway!!! Getting someone to play Praxis would also be cool, but he can continue to be an NPC if needs be.

Does that cover everything?

*grins* sorry, i miss puppy piles, pizza every night, and RPG'ing with good friends....... i guess one out of three isn't so bad.

Um, question - need feed back from everyone:

If we have not heard from someone for .... lets say 3 or 4 days, should character return to NPC until player returns? At least that way game could continue...

...okay, i'm not really mad, I'm just frustrated that we're not posting everyday anymore ... I would've fast forwarded again by now, but I thought there were two of us in the middle of a conversation and I didn't want to be rude.....

maybe I'll check again - but If no one's posted by morning I'm going to fast forward the game to morning .... if that's okay with everone else? Cus my first impulse when the story starts dying is to fast forward... it always seems to save the game by skipping through details that the players are bored with, you know?

okay - anyway - if no one posts by tomorrow moring, i will fast forward, yes? I hope so....

I might suggest waiting a little bit longer. This weekend seems to have seen a lot of people gone, and it might be better to wait til Tuesday to give everyone a chance to get back home and get the inclination to jump online and onto Lit.

I love the story, and I'd love to see more activity, but sometimes this happens. *shrug*

Sorry Guys. I've been on 12 hour shifts and by the time i get home at night, i'm too tired to write anything worth reading. I'll try and post tonight, but watch your asses cause Captain Dalton is gonna close the gap between the group and his men real fast. DU-NU-NAAAA..... dramatic sound effect there.
