Leanna A'tare

A native of Ginaz, one might expect her to have grown to become a fisherwoman or a sword master - but instead she followed her mother's path and became an initiate in the sisterhood of the Bene Gesserit. She spent the years of her training on Wallach IX and Gamont, and two years after her elevation to the rank of full Sister she has found her way to Kaitain. Since finishing her training she seems to have avoided the metropolitan areas of the Imperium that might have brought her into contact with senior members of the order, so what has drawn her to the Throneworld is open to speculation.

Leanna is of medium-tall height, with a slender and well toned build. A grey-eyed young woman in her late 20s, her hair is a warm chestnut brown and would fall down to the middle of her back if left to fall free. Instead it is tightly braided, with silver ornaments that chime softly when she moves. For the rest, she wears a dark blue robe over a charcoal undertunic and soft close-fitting shoes.

I honestly can't see an issue with it. Josephine asked we recruit. So I have invited Kit to post a bio in the OOC. Seems quite knowledgeable and I expect it to be a Bene Gesserit bio (I think).

I'm still of the mind , the two not in the embassy can post a parallel line until we get there. Once we have all in and posting, it's a milestone. Any more recruits and we could end up with a backlog.

However it would happen over days, (or nights) so I was wondering if I should add a little connotation at the top so people reading know it is happening at a different time pace to the other three main players.

What you could do is estimate how many days "it would happen over" and backdate your post to before Josephine arrives. That way you don't have the problem that worries Hard_Rom.

Knowing how the game is played I will not want to give too much away either so I would want to ask about a lot of things and let you guess what was the important information I needed.

However OOC information is that I would need past indiscretions of the top candidates for marriage from the top houses. Anything that would give me ammunition against them to bribe them with.

I want to do something on the theme that the "Royal Family is not like other families."

I figure that whatever familial threat Scheherazade faces will be part of what pushes her to involve herself with House Marius's/Josephine's situation. I just have not come up with an idea for what the familial threat would be.

I don't like straight exposition and, besides, I need some sort of interaction, even if I'm writing it, to help me flesh out a character in my own mind. Right now, Scheherazade stills has no depth for me.

Obviously these men would only be using escorts of the highest caliber when they came to the palace, and ladies do tend to gossip. Surely some information has reached your ears about several young men's shortcomings or special requirements.

Also as to your Royal Family type quandary. Perhaps your mother was once a favorite of the Emperors, hence you and your title of Princess as he always called you that, 'His little Princess'. However either your mother did something to upset him, was killed off by a rival, or he grew tired of her. Either way daggers were sharpened and you found yourself under constant scrutiny and threat.

This may be why you feel drawn to Josephine. A kindred spirit as she tries to get away from all the daggers pointed her way.

If you follow DE on who are Imperial concubines, you could have stumbled on an inter-Sardaukar plot. Loyal to Emperor but could have their own plots to gain more power and rank. Maybe like Mirror universe Star Trek. Advancement by assassination. Lone survivor looking for support from outside the Imperial court and Sardaukar.
