OOC: Game of the Gods

Khad, welcome.

In a nutshell: there is only one major character, Wilson (from the Home Improvement show). You play a God. And the Gods have a table-top game. A 10 side-dice is rolled Twice. The 1st number is the creature category, for Fire's first post. The 2nd number is the type of creature in that particular category.

OK, now you have your creature. Depending on which type of God you're, you can either help Wilson or try to Kill him. In this case, you can't really kill him but you control his actions untilthe next God rolls and tries to save him and/or kill him. Lauren and Myself are trying to kill him. Fire, Comanda, Cel, Cats and Hy are trying to help him.

I've just posted. Its pretty much explains the game, like I explained it on top.

How's this for a character:

Type: Lesser God (Not really a minor God, just one that is ignored for the most part)
Sub Type: God of Misfortune, Hope, and Servitude.
Name: Kirkos-Yav

Features/Characteristics: Kirkos-Yav appears to me a walking skeleton. He dresses in simple woolen clothes which magically stay on his body. His sockets are eyeless, and it is said that he can see all the misfortune of the world.

He is called the deliverer of Hope by those who care enough to learn of this minor God, and it is said that he spreads hope to all who undergo misfortune.

Overall, Kirkos-Yav is a quiet individual. His origins are know only to the highest Gods, but he has ben around since the dawn of time. He serves the Gods in all ways they have need, and doesn't share much with them. When he does speak, it is always quiet and thoughtful.

Is this still open? I figure Wilson could use a little more help. I'm thinking either a Goddess of the Moon or the Deep. Her sphere includes dreams, art, and love.

Ok. Not trying to be a pain or anything, but do you two, cats and hybirdx, read the others' posts?

Cats--

It's not a cave, it's a castle: "Umm if you like, you could come to my castle with me... we're having your grandmother for dinner and I'm sure you'd like to join her" ... In a second burst of light the wizard and Wilson were transported to the Wizards castle.

He knows where his aunt -- grandmother, actually -- is, he saw her: Looking around curiously, he gasps when he realizes just what the wizard ment by "having grandmother for dinner".

And as for what is supposed to be in "the cave": the worried look left his face as he saw two naked beautys walking toward him.

What... the fuck... happened? He "woke up" after a few minutes? After what???

Like I said, not trying to be a jerk, but Fire had a very cool idea back there and if you're not going to edit your posts and pick it up, I'm going to ignore them and continue from where Fire and Arc left it.

And for crying out loud, stop 'saving that for later'. If you roll the die, use whatever you got.

Thanks Lauren for saying something about that cave and "nothing there" when hes being aproached by two nude women and the mention of the aunt (I think she's back home knitting or something, from memory the only relatives of Wilsons in the game at the moment are his grandmother, and Uncle Sam who is presumed dead) - and the "save it for later" rolls.. they were pretty odd posts.

BTW: having grandmother for dinner - I left it open, didn't say she was having sex or anything, there could be a canabalistic thing going on and they are literally having her for dinner.. wanted to leave it open for the next God

I think things will go more smoothly if people stick to the game, throw the dice and manipulate Wilson in every post. Other stuff like the gods fighting each other is fine so long as they keep playing the game and manipulating him. Thats my opinion anyway.
