Yuza III:

NOTE: I make many comparisons between the Earth and Yuza Systems below to make it easier for the two of us to visualize the story we are telling. But remember that the Yuza Humans only what they know of Earth from the stories told to them by their ancestors here on Yuza; and while the Yuza have traveled much of "near space" and taken "samples" of life, both animal and plant, for their zoos and scientific research, they have never actually sent a space craft to the Earth System, let alone been to Earth itself.

Astronomical:

The Yuza System is far, far from Earth.

The Yuza System has 12 planets and 2 asteroid belts. (The arrangement -- beginning nearest the sun and reaching outward -- is 4 planets, major asteroid belt, 2 planets, minor asteroid belt, and 6 planets.)

Yuza III is, as the name would imply, the 3rd planet from the Sun.

Yuza III had one moon:

Yuza Luna, or just Luna, is half the diameter of its parent. In comparison Earth's moon is just over a quarter the size of Earth.

Yuza Luna is just a bit closer (10%) to Yuza III than Earth's moon is to Earth. This means that when Luna Major is in the sky, it looks huge compared to Earth's moon, something the Yuza Humans would know from the oral traditions handed down from their ancestors.

As with Earth's moon, one side of Yuza Luna faces Yuza III at all times.​

The Planet of Yuza III:

Yuza III is very Earthlike with these exceptions:

It is slightly larger in diameter.

It's surface is 70% land (whereas Earth's surface is 71% ocean).

The land is, overall, more arid, with dry regions and/or deserts making up 75% of its land surface. It has only one rain forest, located​
