OOC: Pirates Of Dark Water!!

It looks like we're getting a decent crew of people for the story, but I'd still like to have someone play Zoolie (the ex pirate turned tavern owner) before I start the thread. Also, no one has chosen Ren...the prince of Octopon & captain of the Quest. Also, I'd love to have Bloth be in the story, but if not, we'll stick with our current pirate(s).

If im allowed to play my char Ill stay as him, I didnt volunteer for Ren since I figured that would be Ravenloft or one of the thread leaders , but if you need an npc, just tell me what basic script to follow and I will play along if no one else jumps in.

Ink, you can play any character you wish. I figured that you few who created your own character would stick with that person. If you wish, you can also assume the role of Ren. It is still open. (I do ask that whoever has him correspondes with me via e-mail or someting to keep the story line flowing nicely.) Ravenloft plans on being Ioz since (if you placed a possible adult version over the kid's cartoon) there seems to be a lot of his character Cervantes in him.

On another note, by mid to late next week, I plan on having the basic storyline down. I plan on doing it the same as the first episode with Ren and Niddler (see why I NEED a Ren?!?!? ) walking through Janda-town in search for a ship and possible crew to help them journey for the 13 treasures...of (does anyone remember the "of" part? I think it started with an "R"?). I also need a Zoolie if anyone is willing. He's the tavern owner. Ex pirate. Large (muscle) man, red hair and beard. (Looks like King Triton (from Lil Mermaid) meets Santa Clause-but with red hair, not white.) Very jolly man. Anyone...anyone? Beuler...Beuler? Oh wait... One thing at a time Tiggsie. WRONG show all together.

I would play any npc offered but I prefered somone like ren be played by someone who actually was fluent with PoDW I have vague memmories I remeber wanting to be an Ecomancer, but I didnt think I was Ren material.Ill be happy to be any other Npc as well as my own char. and look forward to a good story. tag me when you want.

Any Cartoon with Tim Curry and Hector Elizondo has to be good ;-)

Well, Tula is an Ecomancer, but she doesn't have to be the only one.

I would like to play Alac (I mentioned him before)as For the Ecomancer, Tula would be the only true ecomancer, Alac only creates illusions for the young and young at heart, he is story teller and singer of songs, and will gladly follow Ren on a quest to collect the items to banish the Dark water that slowly consumes more and more each day...

Well, currently we have no Bloth. I already had to sell my soul to Roland to get him to play as Mini Me at the Powers thread at SRP. I had to rejoin the Vamp thread and fuck him. Hee hee hee... I'm gonna try to butter him up to play Bloth though. It looks like the mute will be on his ship. It also looks like she'll be the only woman aboard there. (Yikes! lol)

As for the Quest, we have no leader. I am Tula and Ravenloft is Ioz. (Uh oh! Hee hee hee) Renegade is gonna be Niddler! Yeay! lol

We have no Zoolie, but while in Janda Towne, I may write him in 3rd person until if/when someone takes that role.

Alac (Ink's character) can go on any ship he wishes. I just need him to get back to me. And (unless I missed it) I need to here back from Kepic to see what he wants to play. Maybe he'll be bold enough to be Ren?

Does that help so far? I'm working on the the story line currently! NEW thread should be up before next weekend.

Yes, I'm back. I had to announce that we now have Zoolie checked off the We Don't Have Someone To Play Yet list!!! Poohlive has so graciously accepted the role! Yeay!!

I also discovered another small role for ANYone who would like it. Teron. He is a Surpreme Ecomancer from Andorus, Tula's homeland. (Which has been completely wiped out by the Dark Water.) He is also Tula's mentor. He helps her develop her power.

Well Alac is a nice guy and a softy so I get the idea that bloth wouldnt want him, any ship he can be on where he can be a softy is fine (will anyone take him ?) as for any other ships I am willing to NPC if anyone needs one in a pinch. if you need me to post asap Tag me email or ICQ/aol.

Alac sat by the port market. children who didnt have the money to buy things would sometimes beg off the sailors. But Alac was here for a diffrent reason. He sang light hearted songs of heroics and happiness of true love and magic. but as he did he watched every ship take off. He listened to any gossip he could hear. and he waited ...for an answer to an old song... could this deposed prince really find the treasures that would free us of the accursed dark water... waters that robbed this world of anything they touched... his songs continued as did the tricks but he was watchful and mindfull..knowledge was his treasure, and as he shared it with the passerbys he was collecting it as well.
